Tasty and versatile harissa paste
I bought this as Ottolenghi uses it in many recipes. I absolutely loved it. I used it for a pasta sauce, scrambled eggs, tofu and many other dishes. I will surely buy it again.

Fantastic flavour - try it!
Couldn’t get this paste in sny of my local shops - so as usual Amazon came to the rescue! The package arrived in perfect condition, no leakage and it was at a great price. Lasts a long time but the sauce gives a fantastic flavour to my recipe. Not hot but gives extra flavour.

Delicious but check the size
Delicious but gram for gram it's not cheaper than the jars you buy in the supermarket. 130g here,170g in supermarkets. Plus I think that the paste in this smaller jar is runnier/oilier than the bigger jar

Delicious light kick!
This is my first time ever trying Harissa and this one is delicious! I little goes a long way but the depth of added flavor to food is amazing. My favorite is adding it to butter beans.

Never had tasted before...it was called for in a recipe. I personally did not like the taste, thought it very strong and overpowering. However, perhaps a little goes a long way...recipe called for tablespoon, and never having used before, I probably made it heaping...lol

Broken seal on this non-returnable item, not recommended
Jar arrived with a broken seal - the lid was loose and no longer vacuum-sealed. Because we have no idea when the seal broke, we’ll throw the harissa out. We’ve had it before, it’s very good, but I don’t recommend ordering this product since either the manufacturer or the seller are having trouble keeping the lid sealed for shipping. As a food item, it is not elegible for return or replacement.
