If this is the same one I bought, and it looks like it is, it’s the original. It has the A/V inputs as you can see on the lower right side. The mini doesn’t have those inputs.

Do all the cords come with it ?

Yes. I got the power A/C adapter to plug it in, and the RF switch to hook it up to a CRT tv (CRT not mandatory but recommended to use for this kind of console). That’s all the cords there are. Just 2 cords total.

How do i save game progress on this console?

This console predates on-board non-volatile memory, so the only way to save game progress is for game cartridges to contain batteries to keep data, which only exist in a small number of games- mostly RPGs. Beyond that, some games have a password system with each password being a snapshot of your inventory, stats, etc. Keep in mind that unlike modern video game systems, this console will not function without a game cartridge inserted, and even then, it's common to have a bad connection, resulting in flashing colors or scrambled symbols. Still, you can't beat the nostalgia.
