Waiting for the Moon: A Novel

Great writer

Love, love this plot!! Unique locations and I rooted for the characters, all of them!! So unusual!!

Kristin Hannah is probably currently my favorite author, this book got 4 stars only because I’ve read several of her other novels that are just outstanding. I’d still recommend it if you’re a book lover.

It was a good read. Dated back in the late 1800's, the story line was pretty good.

Pulls you in on the first page. Great book!

I’m a huge fan of Kristin Hannah, but I gave this book only 3 stars because of the many times she irreverently used Jesus’ name and took God’s name in vain. Doing this detracted from the beauty of her otherwise lyrical writing. That being said, “Waiting for the Moon” is a beautifully woven story. Her sensitivity toward “broken” people (and aren’t we all) is both honest and touching. The characters are strong and well defined. I loved the haunting, mythical tone she consistently maintained. A memorable book.

Another emotional ride from Kristin Hannah. Another I could not put down. The characters come alive in her stories to the point that you are smiling, crying, hurting and happy right along with them. Kristin Hannah is a great author...a definite read,
