Can this be used as a pipe thread sealant / anti-galling agent on steel IMC rigid electrical conduit?

It is made for cu/cu or cu/bronze connections for conduit you really need Killark LUBG- 05

It's too hard to use. Can I use thinner to soften it?

Should be consistency of toothpaste. I am sure there is no harm in thinning, not sure why?

Miss labeled on front it says aluminum / copper on back label says copper only
