The Purple Tape
This is the best album to come out of Wu-Tang, and that includes 36 Chambers. Pretty much flawless. Ghostface is all over this album and just adds to the excitement.

Just as weird and funny as other Wu-Tang albums - rap fans will LOVE this!
As you probably know already if you're reading this, the Wu-Tang Clan is one of the weirdest, funniest and best rap groups alive. What also makes them great is the fact that basically all of their solo albums are equally as classic as their combined material (like their debut "Enter The Wu-Tang (36 Chambers)"). Raekwon isn't necessarily the best of the group (personality-wise, anyway), but he's still great. Everything on here is fantastic, and you'd be hardpressed to find something here that you won't love. The beats are just awesome - these are great for anywhere, and most definitely parties. Every song here is good or great. The lyrics are always catchy, funny and interesting to listen to - he hasn't lost any of his talent since "Enter The Wu-Tang (36 Chambers)". Though it lacks hilarious kung-fu movie clips, they're instead replaced by funny clips between Raekwon and his friends. Overall, if you're a Wu-Tang Clan or rap fan, chances are you'll love this. Highly recommended! Highlights include: the entire album!

Classic!
First of all I hate hipsters lol Just because it is a classic doesn't mean you have to against the grain and award the album with one star. Truth be told I've always heard a song here and there from this album but never got to listen to it fully through until 07. I was 9 years old when this was released and 21 when I bought it and let it play all the way through. Classic. Rae and Rza constructed a masterpiece. It felt like I was listening to a movie. Ghostface as usual drops dope verses as he co starts in this classic LP. The chef's lyrical performance was strong and innovated. I kick myself for getting on only built 4 Cuban linx so late but ish happens. Check it out for any real hip hop lover.
