Why must it be placed on a flat surface?

All cylinders must be placed on a flat and resistant ground. If they are placed on sandy ground or on loose surfaces, the cylinder will be damaged.

Why doesn't the piston fall back automatically?

After the pressure is relieved, the piston can only retract with the help of heavy gravity. It is recommended to pressed directly by hand.

Does the hydraulic pump come with hydraulic oil?

Yes, this hydraulic pump is shipped with hydraulic oil.

Why the jack is a little oily?

Due to the long transportation journey, it is NORMAL for hydraulic products to leak slightly. Please tighten the sealing plug when you are not using the hydraulic pump, and seal the joint with a small bag and rubber band to avoid oil leakage.

It will not come close to lifting even 10 tons. The telescopic part will not lift anything. We connect two different 10,000 pound pumps and it would not lift one corner of a 10 ton machine.
