Lemige Vacuum Filter Replacement Parts for Dyson DC40 Light Ball Slim Ball

Fit my Dyson Amimal 2 perfectly! I was so happy to get new filters the air smells fresher ! Suction was great to begin with but has to be better now ! I will never own anything but a Dyson this is my 4th one cause kids borrow it and never bring it back haha . The value is great and so is the quality!

These filters are a perfect fit for my Dyson and indistinguishable from the originals. The price is hard to beat as well. I highly recommend them.

Other than both filters fit well, not much to say really. No long term report and I certainly don't have the equipment to ascertain filtering effectiveness; I just hope the filtering material does its job.

These are great replacement filters! My old filters were original and I had tried washing and cleaning them but they were beyond help. The old ones were so clogged that the vacuum was making a whistling noise. These filters look just like the originals and the whistling sound went away after installing them. Definitely a great buy for my Dyson DC 65. I included the photos of the new filter next to my old one. Can definitely see the difference.

These were significantly cheaper than actual Dyson replacements so I thought I’d take a chance. I should have listened to the other video review that mentioned the sound it makes. I put my old filter back on and it was fine, so it’s not my vacuum. I’m not sure why this replacement makes noise. It’s the exact part for my model #. I’m glad I only bought a one pack to try. I think I’ll pay the extra $ next time. Overall they do what they are supposed to do but I knocked off a star for the annoying noise.

Takes only a minute or so to change the round filter. I'll admit to not even realizing there was a straight, second filter somewhere in the vacuum. Finding this product taught me that there was indeed a second filter. Replacing the straight filter took only a few seconds (once I found it - but the instructions made that easy). The vacuum now has the powerful suction it used to have when new! Well, duh, but yeah. :-)

We have had both of our Dysons for a few years and have never replaced filters. We didn't even realize there were two! After a very messy, dusty home renovation, we decided to read up and saw that 2 filters were necessary. I found these at Amazon and they worked wonderfully. We took our vacuum apart, cleaned it well and replaced filters (which were very easy to do), and we have a vaccuum that looks and runs like it's brand new. $18 is better than the $60 charged by Dyson for basically the same thing. I saw some folks had squeaking. Probably poor installation (not locked into place well) or just a fluke. Ours worked perfectly.
