hurricane preparedness.........bought maybe in 2023 and another in 2025. I can read by them for a ffew hours during hurricane........will give light for a 10 by 14 space for hours............very light weight feel.......we can aim at ceiling and that can help magnify light. brightness great Held up through 3 or 4 hurricanes now..... excellent quality

My husband and I purchased this flashlight for our son in 2021. I liked it so well, I requested and received the same item as a gift the next year. I primarily keep it in my vehicle for emergencies. I’ve also used it on my son’s forested property to find the dogs. I’m writing this review on January 11, 2025; more than two years since receiving it. In that time, despite being left in extreme heat and cold, I’ve never needed to recharge it. It continues to function as well as the day I received it. The flashlight can be recharged using the included usb cable, which will be very useful in my vehicle. There are four settings. The high beam is very powerful and lights the forest amazingly well. The low beam has been useful to light the immediate vicinity when I’m engaged in activities in the dark, like putting collars on the dogs. I feel secure knowing the red flashing light can alert other drivers if I’m stalled on the side of the road. It functions well. The side light isn’t bright enough to do more than, for example, jot a note. It doesn’t provide enough light to illuminate fine details. I have yet to charge my phone battery using the port on the flashlight, but I’m grateful to have that option. It’s lightweight, which is useful to me when I’m leading the dogs into the house. I can hold the flashlight and lead(s) in the same hand. I also appreciate the strap on the flashlight that allows me carry the flashlight hands-free as it lights the path to my destination while carrying bundles and large boxes. I’m pleased with this flashlight and recommend it to those who are considering a purchase.

Thank you seller for selling such good quality merchandise at such a good price. I bought this for my Dads BDAY because he had an old ugly heavy flashlight that always needed batteries. When I surprised him with this one, he was sooooo happy! He likes that it’s as light as a feather, has two light settings, by the way the second setting is super bright because it has search light setting, it’s waterproof and if it falls into the lake or pool, it won’t get damaged. It has a RED FLOOD LIGHT OR EMERGENCY LIGHT WHEN YOU GET STRANDED ON FREEWAY. Set this on top of your car so that on coming traffic can see you. My dad was also surprised that the flashlight can also be a Camping Lantern. Or you can use the lantern by your bedside even if not camping. Also had two settings. Bright and low. You just flip the flashlight upside down and there you go; the side light on the flash light turns into a lantern with a soft light. So let me get to the best part!!!! The flashlight doesn’t need batteries!!!! It charges with a USB CORD and once charged, you can charge your cell phone on your flashlight and your tablet etc. ITS A MUST BUY!!! This appears to be a common design marketed under several different distributors/brand names. I was able to grab one during a lightning deal at a reasonable price. Main function - Spotlight [5/5]. Modes: Bright and medium bright. Brightness intensity is really good, very bright and tight beam. Also, the two light levels are controlled by a rocker switch, excellent as you know immediately what the power level is. In comparison, flashlights & tactical lights you typically have to click a button multiple times to cycle through light modes, not so with this lantern. Secondary function - White LED panel [5/5]. Use - for area lighting. Two modes, bright and low. Very useful. Secondary function - Red LED panel [2/5]. Use - emergency beacon. Flashes on/off. Signaling emergency such as a stranded situation/warning. The red LED panel would be far more useful if there were a steady on mode as well as the flashing mode. A low output red LED light source is useful for reading/viewing during nighttime when you don't want a bright white LED. Of course since it only flashes, the use is very limited. Secondary function - Charging port [3.5/5]. It's got a 3800 mAh of battery power that operates all the light modes, and in addition, can be a source of re-charge for your electronic device via the single standard USB port. The good - it's a standard USB so it's easy to charge your device no matter the type. The not so good - you've got to have a USB to USB cord (included) to charge the lantern itself. USB/USB is not nearly as common as a USB/micro or USB/c type cord (which I have laying around by the dozen.). You'd be out of luck recharging the lantern if you lost or forgot to bring along the USB/USB cable. Ergonomics/General [4/5] - It's large full-sized lantern but far lighter than you'd expect especially if your used to the old 6V style lanterns. Handle is nice plenty of room to grip with a gloved hand, there are little feet on the bottom of the unit, and it's water resistant, I've left it out in the rain. Buttons are all large, operation is common sense. The main beam is fixed and cannot be adjusted for wide/focus. Four bright blue LEDs on rear indicate charge capacity remaining. There are four blue LEDs that indicate charge remaining. I've subtracted a star as this meter isn't very accurate. What usually happens is that it stays at 3 or 4 LEDs for 90% of the remaining life and then suddenly goes dead. Similarly when recharging it, it will jump 1, 2, 3 LEDs, then recharge the 4th LED for most of the charge cycle. Aside from the quirks and oddities, and the suggested improvements/changes, I'd buy this item again. Rechargeable is the way to go and it hits the mark with it's spotlight main function being super bright and the addition of a side white LED area light panel, a very useful secondary. I'd even pay a bit more for the same item if it packed a larger battery capacity, but improve the power remaining meter, please.

I love this light!!!! I had a spotlight that I bought maybe five years ago. It was rechargeable and it worked very well. Recently, the battery showed signs that it had reached the end of its life. I was looking for something similar to replace it when I found this one. The reviews were good, so even though it was a no name product, I decided to give it a chance. I like to use it at night in my backyard because there are lots of cool things to see at night. We have lots of different spiders, toads, frogs, scorpions and many types insects. I also use it to keep an eye on the dogs when it is dark to make sure they don't get into anything. My old spotlight was not LED. It would get very hot and I could not have it on for very long because of that and because the battery drained pretty fast. Obviously, since this is LED, that is not a problem. I have only charged it once so far. I have used it quite a bit, even for extended periods, and it still shows four blue dots which is maximum charge. It charges using USB, which is so convenient. I also don't have to worry about misplacing a proprietary charger as I have done with many other things. One this that surprised me was that this is so lightweight. I mean it feels like nothing. I also like the versatility. You can use it as a spotlight but it also has a white and a red light on the sides. The bottom is flat, so it sits upright with no problem. My last light had a handle that prevented it from being set upright. the white side light has two levels of brightness, and I use it when I need ambient light. The spotlight is very bright. I can shine it up into tall trees and it seems as bright as when I use it closer up. This is an extremely useful multi-function spotlight that works very well. I am very impressed.

I was pleasantly surprised with this light weight hand held spotlight. It's very stylish and has a nice color. The two position spotlight is very nice, although I am not sure why I would use it in a 'less bright' mode. I was very happy to see the LED light was extremely bright and has very white light. I haven't measured the distance of the spotlight, but it shines beyond my property line. The side LED's are a very nice feature for night reading. Again, the LED'S are very white and most would be able to read with this light alone. The other side of the lantern has an emergency flashing red LED'S. Good for signaling in an emergency situation. Each side light has it's own on/off switch. Too soon to evaluate battery life, but I'm hopeful it will be adequate. It would be nice if the battery could be changed when needed, that's something that I'll have to investigate in the future. This lantern recharges with an included USB cable. It would have been nice to have a small on-board compartment to store the USB cable. The listing stated waterproof, but the instructions shows not to submerge in water, so I'm assuming it's water resistant and not waterproof. Also, this unit states that it can also be used as a charging station for your cell phone, but you'll need a cell phone specific USB. Overall I believe this Spotlight/Lantern is a good buy and should last for years.

For years I kept buying flashlights looking for that one that gave a strong light. They were all pretty weak. And having to deal with batteries was a pain. This lantern/flashlight is the best purchase I ever made! When the Southern Calif winds/fires happened in Jan 2025, I was without power for 17 hours. This flashlight/lantern was a godsend! The flashlight is so powerful, I was able to inspect my entire property several times in the dark while the powerful winds were raging. My neighbor borrowed it to inspect her property, too. The flashlight is powerful and you can see over 50 feet in front of you in pitch blackness. During my power outage, I used the lantern in my bedroom and it was as good as having a night table lamp. The flashlight facing the ceiling lit up my bedroom like a strong lamp. The charge lasted for the entire time I needed it. I don't have to worry about batteries dying either. This product is rechargeable from a laptop, a power band charger, or my car when the electricity is out. I loved it so much that I bought a 2nd one to gift to someone. Best purchase ever!

I have to say I love this item - though not in the physical sense. I mean I like it physically, as it is an object, but I have no emotional feelings towards it, except platonic love. It is very bright, especially when you turn it on, and works really well at night when it is dark and you need more light to see things. The beam is very good, and reaches all the way to the bottom of our garden. To put that into perspective, our garden is about twice as long as Matt's back garden and it easily illuminates Matt's path all the way to his shed, which is quite a long way as you can imagine. About half the length of our garden in fact, and I can see all the way to our pond, which is easily further than Matt's shed is from his back door. To be fair Matt does have a bigger front garden than us, but we didn't try it out there as he has a street light, so you can see anyway when you come up his path. It isn't pocket sized, unless you are Andre the Giant out of The Princess Bride, so you have to carry it about manually with your hands, but it doesn't weigh much, and it's a small price to pay for not stepping in dog poo on the lawn, which I used to do every evening. Actually that makes it sound like a hobby, which it obviously isn't, but you can't see the dog poo on the lawn so I would often tread in one when I go to get the bird feeders in at night. You have to bring them in or else the jackdaws all congregate at dawn and make a racket. I mean I bring the bird feeders in, not the dog poo which I usually throw over the fence into the next doors flower bed. It recharges by storing energy somewhere, via a USB like what you get with a computer, so I presume it stores energy in the cloud like my phone does. It has got four little blue lights at the back which don't really light anything up much and I don't know what they are there for but they look nice. There is also a red light on one side and a white flashing one on the other, so you can put them both on and pretend to be a policecar, but you have to make your own noises as this doesn't have a siren or anything. In all it is a lot better than those old torches you used to get, which you had to set fire to before rampaging through the village, or those little ones you see in museums which went on peoples mining helmets and had a canary in them. I would certainly buy one for Matt but he still owes me fifteen quid for that cab fare so I won't throw good money after bad. I could get one for Alison so that she can walk back from The Staunton, but I bet she'd forget and leave it in the pub. In summation I'd certainly buy more of these if I had more deserving friends. Oh yes, it was also delivered very promptly by a new delivery man, who doesn't speak a lot of English, but he seems nice, and looks a lot like James Franco.
