Best snack
These are my favorite snack. They taste so good and have a great crunch. They can last on the shelf for quite some time. The size is accurate to a regular ice cream sandwich!

Sent in thin envelope and wrapper on item open
Taste was amazing. Problem is the inner wrapper on the sandwich was open on both side like a machine sliced it. Inside was all broken so it was a real mess to eat. Still the taste was good. Must package better to ship than a thin envelope

Light weight, high calorie, and delicious
This is the best on the go snack ever! Especially if you are not in the best state of mind. They are sealed in a thick resilient envelope with a standard paper wrapper around the freeze dried ice cream sandwich itself. It is easy to pack and very light weight. It is very crunchy, and dry, but otherwise it’s an ice cream sandwich. It is a very novel and uplifting food item. When you consider the cost you need to think of the extreme shelf life and zero energy required to store it. They are not cheap.

I love Mountain House products that are suitable for long term storage and easy preparation by rehydration with boiling water. I also love Mint Cocolate Chip ice cream, which is my favorite flavor. But Mountain House has really mislead consumers on this product. Because it is not rehydrated, it tastes like stale chocolate cookies with a mint flavored packed powder in between. I would recommend foregoing this while camping, and having a great big bowl of REAL mint chocolate chip ice cream when you return home. It will taste that much better than this abomination!
