Playlearn 13” LED Fiber Optic Lamp - USB/Battery Powered – Color Changing Crystal Base – Fiber Optic Light Sensory Lamp

This is an excellent product. Apparently the seller has taken pains to be sure the product is checked before sending it out, and the packaging is protective. I have read other reviews of the fiber optic lamp which have criticized the product for being damaged or not working. Some reviews even say it is cheaply constructed or has few fibers. What I received from the PlayLearn is superior in every way. There are many dazzling fibers which transmit light at the ends. The base is very showy, sturdy and colorful. It gives off considerable light in several pleasant changing colors. I strongly recommend this product from PlayLearn. I do not intend to leave it on for very long periods. Some reviews have stated it eats batteries. You might consider using rechargeable AAA batteries if you want to run it continuously for many hours

This exceeded my expectations. It cycles through solid colors, and then combinations. The base is so gorgeous it could be a lamp of it's own really. It does require AAA batteries, not AA batteries, so I do not currently own any rechargeables. I was a bit disappointed by that, but the beauty of the lamp more than made up for it. Make sure that you have a small screwdriver on hand to release the battery cover. After that, it does latch on it's own without the screw. I highly recommend this product. The shipping was super fast and the product arrived in excellent condition.

I found it hard to open the bottom of the lamp but once I finally got the bottom open and I was able to put the batteries in it looked beautiful. I LOVE it! I bought it as a gift for someone else but now I might go buy me one. So everything is great about it except getting the bottom part open, but I still think it’s worth buying.

Super excited about receiving this for my daughters room. We unboxed it and it’s visibly scratched up and used. I would post the pictures but some reason it’s not allowing me too. She wanted to turn it on so we tried but the screw was semi stripped from whoever received it before me. So it was a pain to get batteries it in. Got batteries in it and it is a really cool lamp! She also likes to move her hand through the fibers. She has ASD and SPD for reference. Cool little lamp but totally bummed on how it came and looks. Looks like I’ve had it for months when I only unboxed it (and received it yesterday). Update: I really wanted to like this thing but it’s trash. Fibers are falling out left and right. I will be returning this. Hopefully pictures will upload. I’ve tossed dozens of fibers.

I've been adding a few more kinds of ornamental, decorative, colored lamps to my household. Though I am visually impaired, with only a little "tunnel vision" in my right eye, I have always enjoyed "ornamental lighting," which Mom has also always enjoyed and made plentiful for the family, from my very early days. I'm never ready to put away holiday lights, and have, gladly resorted to putting colored LED bulbs in most of even my ordinary lamps; still, I wanted a few more "magic touches," especially after Mom bought me a rotating, battery operated Christmas scenery/projector lamp, and I ordered a battery operated Fiberoptic lamp and a set of 2 for Mom. We have been enjoying them so much that we're like, GOING THROUGH THE BATTERIES; so I bought this one, which came with a USB cord! I, then, wanted another one for my kitchen, so I ordered some USB adapters, (to allow for more options to plug the USB powered things in,) and also ordered another of these lamps, which I received, yesterday, and Mom really likes it too, so, eventually I'll most likely be ordering one for Mom.

When you lightly touch the fiber optic strands at the top, it creates a mesmerizing lighted color display… and it immediately distracts sand grabs your attention… leading to a relaxed feeling. My 3- year-old granddaughter often gets on sensory overload and when we introduced the lamp to her she couldn’t stop touching it. We are optimistic that this will help her to release some of the day’s stress before she gets overwhelmed. We also purchased a sensory bubble tent… so this relaxing light in the dark tent may be just what she needs to reset her day and avoid sensory overload. Fingers crossed!!!!:)

Our six-year-old son loves this lamp. The colors slowly shift as the brightness of the different colored LEDs inside changes. The only problem we have had is that as he has handled it about a dozen the fibers broke off. I took a piece of white packing string and neatly wound it around the base of the fibers five or six times, tied it off and cut off the excess. Now the fibers do not get bent where they come out of the base and have stopped breaking.

Lamp doesn’t work after only a few hours of actual illumination… Stored on a shelf without batteries to prevent corrosion. Put in brand new AAA batteries and doesn’t turn on at all. Switched the batteries out again and still nothing … very disappointed

Bei dieser Lampe interessierte mich nur das Glasfaserbündel (transparent), welches ich beim Light-Painting einsetze. Glasfaserbündel und Lampensockel ließen sich problemlos vom trennen. Für die Verbindung meiner LED-Taschenlampe LED Lenser P7 QC Taschenlampe Box, RGB, High Performance Line, P-Serie, 4x AAA, 9407-Q mit dem Glasfaserbündel sorgt ein Verbindungsstück (mit Rohrisolierungen & Panzertape gebaut) (siehe Bild). Beim Light-Painting kann erzielt man mit dem weißen Glasfaserbündel sehr schöne diffuse Farbakzente. Dabei wedelt man mit dem Glasfaserbündel an den stellen herum, an denen man die Lichtakzente setzen will. Mit etwas Übung kann man auch schönen farbigen "Nebel" erzeugen. (siehe Bilder) Anregungen zur Verwendung findet man auf dem großen Videoclip-Portal (einfach ZOLAQ als Suchbegriff eingeben) Mein Fazit: Gut für Light-Painting einsetzbar. Besonders gut für diffuse Farbeffekte

Achat satisfaisant, je l'ai pris pour ma fille et elle l'adore. le soir cela crée une petite lumière d'ambiance, un peu comme une veilleuse et les couleurs changent.
