Tamiya 86001 Paint Spray, White

If your painting RC car lexan bodies this IMO Is the GOAT and the Only Spray Paint to Use! Tons of colors just remember PS paint for lexan. Make sure to wash body prior to painting and this stuff is self etching and doesn't need a primer. I've used black, white, Light Blue Flo Pink, Flo Green & Flo Orange and they've all been great and easy to use and get professional looking paint jobs. Sit cans in container of hot water to get the paint warm and better pressure and Shake for 2mins.

After taking a long break from RC painting, I picked up a few cans of this Tamiya Color paint for polycarbonate. All I can say is WOW! This stuff goes on great, bonds perfectly and is very strong and scratch resistant. I strongly recommend heating up the can a bit by letting it sit in a bowl of hot water before using (just hot enough to keep your finger in without burning). This makes the paint come out smoother, more evenly and it dries MUCH faster between coats. Remember, LIGHT coats! I usually get about 4-5 coats per can if I’m spraying the whole body one color.

This paint is perfect for small hobby projects. I’m using it for a scale RC crawler body. Very smooth and covers well. This seller was great. Shipped super fast and packed well.

Purchased this to paint a lexan RC body. On the 1/10 scale, you will comfortably get 3-4 solid coats. However, I do wish that you got more at this price point out of a can of spray paint.

Can’t go wrong with Tamiya paint for your nitro or electric lexan bodies. I used this to brighten colors or use it as my base color.

The paint goes on using thin coats, so a few coats will be necessary to build up to final thickness. the paint has a lot of obnoxious fumes that are very flammable, so use carefully in a very well ventilated space, like outside. The end results are great.

Parfait, peinture qui recouvre bien, cela correspondait à mes attentes. Le seul petit bémol, c'est l'odeur qui se répand facilement et est assez importante. Il faut penser à faire sa peinture dans un endroit bien aéré, et séparé de son endroit de vie.
