What are the bands used to hold the kettlebells to the bandbell bamboo bar - length, width, strength? who makes them?

Most common bands used are #1 Mini bands (1/2" width) or if with heavier weight use #2 Monster Mini bands (13/16" width). Typically people use 41" bands. We manufacture bands as well ASIN: B00KLMU03O but any high quality bands will work.

What are the dimensions of this item?

I think 6 inches. I don't know exactly, but it's small. You can put 2 10lbs plates on one. When you get to 25lbs plates, you have to use 2 bands. I hope this helps.
