Does the OSSC work with Nintendo 64 or NES out of the box?

The N64 and NES do not natively output RGB. The OSSC requires RGB input to function. Unmodified N64 and NTSC GameCube are NOT compatible without an RGB modification to the console first.

Does a SCART cable or HDMI cable come included in the box?

No SCART or HDMI cable is included. A high-quality RGB SCART cable must be sourced separately. Also needed: 2 AAA batteries (not included) for the included remote control.

Will the OSSC output a signal that all modern TVs can display?

Some modern TVs do not accept the OSSC's line-multiplied signal. A compatible display that accepts 240p/480i line-doubled signals is required. Check TV compatibility before purchasing.

What is the difference between OSSC v1.6 and earlier versions?

OSSC v1.6 adds analog audio to digital HDMI audio conversion, allowing audio to be carried over the HDMI output. All other line-multiplying functions are identical to earlier versions.
