Q: I currently have a casablancab flushed mount ceiling fan. The light kit globe will not come off to access bulb. any suggestions?

mine has two screws in the bottom of the light kit, which when unscrewed drops the light kit down. If your question is specifically the globe, once you back off the three screws on the globe it should come off.

Q: Two different colored blades are pictured. i'm interested in the darker blades. is 'walnut/med oak' the darker or lighter colored blades?

These blades are reversible. You will choose the color when you install the fan.
