Very comfortable house shoes or bedroom slippers for people who have high arches.
I have worn Vionic bedroom slippers for years, and they quit making the wool bedroom slippers, or if they havenโt I have not found them. So I looked around for a similar substitute and found Taos. I wear an 8.5 size regular shoe and I got an 8/8.5 shoe from Taos. It fit beautifully. So, I guess they run true to size. However, if my foot would have been wide, the shoe would be too tight. If you have a very wide foot, this shoe may not be for you. I would order in your regular size shoe, but please note the width detail I just mentioned. The arch is high in the shoe, and that is exactly what I need for my feet not to hurt. I can work all day in a high arch and my feet feel as good as they did when I started. If I do not have an arch, or if the arch is pretty insignificant, my feet will hurt and the longer I wear the small or no arch shoes, the worse it gets. Because of this, I tried a high arch shoe and it has made such a difference and these shoes from Taos are great. One note on the woolโฆI had a wool Vionic shoe and it lasted for 3 years of wear everyday. Granted I only put 2500 to 4500 steps per day on it, but the wool wore beautifully, and was not hot. I donโt know how these will be because the inside footbed has short fur, so I expect these to be hotter than the others were. These are shoes to wear only in the house and to keep your feet from hurting. You can wear them outside, but I want my floors/carpets to stay clean, therefore I need a pair for just the house. You will not be sorry purchasing these, if you have a narrow/medium width foot, and need a very high arch.**UPDATE**This is now Dec. 27, 2024. I am still wearing the same Taos slippers. The only difference is that the outside of the wool is starting to pill (like a sweater does) but not too badly, and the inside removable insole needs to be replaced (the fur flattens down). I did wash the slippers twice on the cycle "hand wash", along with the insoles. They came out beautifully. I chose these slippers with the embroidery and wool, for long lasting wear. When I walk, my big toes aims up and will eventually wear a hole out of the top of the shoes, even with my toenails cut short. So, I chose the wool (which lasts much longer, and the embroidery which keeps the toenail from going through the wool fabric, and just strengthens the fabric). I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE these slippers and hate to take them off. My feet never ache, nor do my arches hurt. I wear nothing else inside the house unless company comes. So, these particular slippers wear extremely well, and so do the soles of the slippers. The comfort is A++ and I love them. I will only buy these, so Taos...I hope you are listening and keep these in stock! Also, another note.....these are not hot, and they do not make my feet sweat, in spite of the wool.

Fits really well and very comfortable.
I love the clog, and it is very attractive. I was worried that the size, 9-9 1/2 was going to be a problem, but they fit me perfectly. I think my feet are slightly larger than a size 9 now, so having a little leeway was good for me. They are comfortable to walk in and keep my feet warm and comfortable. My daughter bought two more pairs for me for Christmas, so now I have choices! I had worn Merrell shoes for years, but in recent time I have found their quality as well as their sizes have changed (although to be honest I do think my feet got a little flatter!) The last pair of Merrells I bought were leather clog-type. The leather was not the good quality it used to be, and the soles of the shoes actually started peeling off in sections after only one year of wear. My first pair lasted 15 years. AnywayโI have high expectations of my Taos shoes, and look forward to many years of wearing them.

Comfortable fit.
This shoe is very comfortable. It has decent arch support but not extensive support. The lining is soft and very nice. The toe box is wide. I have a small, wide foot and I'm starting to get a bunion on one foot. This shoe is wide enough that my feet are not cramped and are comfortable even with the bunion. These are definitely casual, strolling shoes. I woukd wear them for extremely long walks as your foot can slide a little in them. The lining makes it so your sole wouldn't be soar bit your toes could get sore if the rub the edge of the toe box when you walk. I waer them just around the house and for quick errands, like the grocery store our out to lunch. Theybwork wonderful for all day at home. I wear a size 6 1/2 normally and I bought the euro size 36. They fit perfectly but would be too tight with a thick sock. I do not wear socks with these shoes. If you would want to wear a sock then I'd suggest you buy the next size up. Hope this review helps!

Love these clogs
I used to wear Ugg Tasman around the house but my feet would get tingly on the bottom by the end of the day. I bought these because they were so cute and reviews said they offered good support. While this is true and theyโre great for what I need - I can run out in them as well as wear as slippers - the only thing I donโt love is the rigidity of the sole, which I guess is to be expected in a clog. Iโm looking to buy another pair but canโt justify even the reduced price right now. Soon!

LOVE these shoes. I wear 10.5. Had to buy 11-11.5 shoe.
I found this company over the summer while looking for a new sneaker that offered the support I needed but wasn't a work out shoe. This pair of shoes is my second shoe purchase from Taos. Definitely not my last.Sizing: I wear a 10/10.5/sometimes even an 11 depending on the shoe. I decided to try the shoe size 10-10.5. I did have to return it because it fit too small. I switched for the 11 to 11.5 size of shoe. These fit perfectly.I love how warm they are. I love the support they give. My feet are very comfortable in them. I bought them to go to a karate school. Easy slip on and easy slip off. Offering support and warmth. There is no tread on them. Not made for snow and ice, I would think.

Perfect, Warm Slippers
These slippers are beautiful. I slipped my feet into the fuzzy, warm depths and my feet said "ah". Comfortable, warm, good arch support, fit perfectly and quiet sole. I wore them the rest of the day after receiving them and every day afterwards. My feet couldn't be happier.

Too hard
I was looking for a very comfortable, soft slipper to wear around the house. When I received these beautiful shoes, I was sad to find out they are very hard. The foot-bed was soft but when I walked in them, it almost hurt my foot. Not soft to walk in at all. So I am sadly returning them.

So comfortable!
LOVE these Taos clogs! So cute! So comfortable! Fabulous arch support for my plantar fasciitis. Cozy warm! Can wear with or without socks. Not clunky-looking like some clogs appear. Will be the perfect fall fashion staple! ๐
