Naruko Rose and Botanic HA Aqua Cubic Complex EX, 1.05 Ounce

The picture here is of the Naruko Rose & Botanic HA Aqua Cubic Moisturizer, a product that I like quite a lot. However, the product that I actually received is the Rose & Botanic HA Aqua Cubic Complex, a facial serum that comes in a smaller, similar-looking bottle, but with a built-in dropper. When I saw the moisturizer pictured here and the price, I bought this without double-checking the specific item's name.The complex serum is fine at temporarily softening your skin. I imagine if you skin was really in need of extra moisturizing, this would be a good product for those people who like to layer products. After a few weeks, I didn't see much difference and also it's easy to pick up too much product with the dropper-wand, thereby wasting expensive product.All in all, use if you like layering products and the Naruko line, which is still excellent and uses wonderful ingredients for the price. However, I won't buy it again.

I really like this product for instant, non-oily hydration. It was a bit confusing when to use this in the skincare routine but, for me, it seems to work best after toner/conditioner. I follow with emulsion, serum(s), cream, and a Naruko Night Gelly in the evenings. The Cubic Complex seems to help the other products absorb more quickly.This product contains quite a few hydrating heavy hitters, along with Niacinamide for a boost of brightness.I would give 4.5 stars if it were possible, as the product is extremely rose-scented. It dissipates quickly, but is nonetheless very strong. Although I'm not a huge fan of rose-scented products, I've already ordered my second bottle because the results outweigh the few seconds of intense scent. I have used items from nearly every Naruko line (Lupin, Magnolia, Narcissus, etc) and the rose products live up to the hydrating claims.
