He Can Do Better
I read this novel after I read Anastas' memoir, Too Good to Be True, which mines some of the same themes. He f***s up totally in the memoir, and I liked that better. The problem with the novel for me was that the theme of being an underachiever got tired, even in a short novel.

Good premise
The premise of this book was interesting enough that I kept reading it. I did not find it particularly inspiring and I would have changed the ending and some of the story line, but it was ok.

LOTS OF PROMISE, NOT MUCH DELIVERED
The title was great, and the online sample selection from the beginning of the novel made me buy it (at a nice, low price), but about two-thirds of the way through, it just seemed to fall apart -- as if there was a deadline looming, and the editor said "Just finish it!"

Very Entertaining
I really enjoyed this book. Very well written and very funny. I'm looking forward to his next book but, given that Anastis is an underachiever, am not anticipating it in the near future.
