As expected after 7 months, if not better
The 20-yr-old Benjamin 392 works better than I ever remember. Only 4 pumps now instead of 5-6 before it quit working entirely. Didn't even need the new piston rubber seal - a good spare I might need later?

Benjamin air rifle repair kit
My Benjamin model 392 .22 cal. air rifle ceased to pump up and hold required air pressure. I researched the problem and found this repair kit. It came with instructions and necessary part replacements. It does take some mechanical skills and common tools to install. An extra hand to help too is useful. My son and I installed in about 45 minutes, so its not too difficult. I have since reconditioned another one for a friend. Rifle worked like new when complete. Tools recomended are a hammer, block of 2 x 4 wood and a punch to knock out rool pins. Read instructions carefully and work step by step.

Very good buy for price.
I rebuild a friends Benjamin 397 PA with this kit. The only thing I found wrong with this kit was the little O ring for the bolt was not the right size. The rifle was a .177 and I got an O ring for a .22, in the kit. This could just have been a rare occurrence. That is why I didn't give it a 5 star rating. Never the less I was able to repair the rifle and it worked as if it was new. Would I buy this again you bet and I am recommending it to any one who wants to rebuild a 397 or even a 392 as they are very similar. I do advise that you add a not to your order for the vender describing your caliber.

Get the kit, it worth it.
Had 2 blue streaks, they both leaked like crazy. Got 2 kits, they both work like new, even bought a new scope for one. Directions are ok and if you have the right tools to take the guns apart you’re all set. I have a blue streak I got in the 1960’s and it didn’t work.

100 percent as advertised quality, service, and price value.
Easy to refurbish my rifle with the new seal kit. Shoots like brand new if not better. Excellent price, service, and quality. Very satisfied with this transaction.

Made an old gun work like new!
I used this kit to restore a 1996 Benjamin/Sheridan Blue Streak .20 caliber air rifle. The parts fit perfectly and made an old gun that wouldn't shoot work like new!

It's good
As others have said, the instructions leave a lot to be desired, but once you get in there, you can pretty much see how everything works. It would help if the items were labeled more clearly. The diagram is helpful. The hardest part is taking out the roll pins in the front, so make sure you have a good set of roll pin punches. After that, it's all pretty self explanatory and brought my airgun back to life! I'd buy it again for sure.

just like new. Never oil air guns and always store ...
Taking the two front pins out is a little tough but the rest takes a few min. My gun would not even pump air. Two hours later, just like new. Never oil air guns and always store with one pump uncocked..
