Gives you all the ports you need and provides a headphone jack (important since it blocks the headphone jack when connected). It comes with rubber feet that you stick on the underside, where there are (quite deep) indents in the aluminium frame, ensuring these rubber feet don't slip off and when on, ensuring the hub is flush with your macbook on the table, so any downward pressure doesn't damage the ports. Plenty of ports on it too. With everything connected, I still have a spare USB C on this thing, as well as a HDMI, micro sd and sd slot. Overall couldn't be happier, plug and play, no issues and ports for days. I keep my usb's plugged into this hub and when I arrive at my cafe of choice, I plug it in and have instant, reliable and consistent connection to all my external devices. AND cheaper than the competition. Couldn't be happier!

I’ve had this for a while now and usually don’t review these things because they often die veeerrrryyy quickly. I was going through these at a ridiculous rate at one point and it was costing me a fortune (other brands I have to say). They simply kept breaking / failing because they were made from cheap components. I’m not sure what this is made from so I can’t comment on that, but what I can say is that this has been considerably more reliable and consistent than others I have tried and is still going strong after a year with heavy usage. I’ve used all the ports regularly as I do a lot of sound and video work and you just plug this into your Mac and go. Speeds are relatively fast for transferring, the size is good and makes it really portable and it feels pretty durable. In terms of installation, you just plug it in and off to go. It feels more sturdy than many others I have used and has stood the test of time so far. I’ve actually been consciously waiting for this to fail for a long time now and it never lets me down. I also like that you can have power plugged into it so you can power / charge the laptop whilst working. There’s a lot of ports which opens up many possibility’s for card transfers, mouse and keyboard inputs, outputs to TV via HDMI, USB can be used for external hard drives too which is a life saver when working with such large files on a regular basis - even with decent laptop storage and (begrudgingly) an ICloud storage subscription, I vastly prefer using external hardrives for reliability and quick access to files. iCloud often lets me down in this regard. When the his does eventually fail, which it inevitably will, I’ll definitely purchase another because I have confidence it will be consistent, reliable and last a decent amount of time which means you are getting your moneys worth from it.

As expected, seems good quality and works as it should. It would be better if they colour matched the MacBook colours though—that’s why it loses a star as can’t be that hard to do that.

Whilst this is a great product from a functional viewpoint, the LED remains on all the time, even when my laptop is in sleep mode. So it drains the battery even when not in use. That's a big flaw in an others great product.

Plugged in and off we went. Simple and worked immediately. No tech facts here, but all worked as required, so good product for the money.

The signal is incredibly unstable, causing the monitor to flicker constantly and go black every few minutes. I have tried it with multiple devices and different cables, but the problem persists no matter what. It makes the adapter utterly useless for its most important job, turning a simple task into an exercise in pure frustration. The display never holds a stable image for more than ten minutes. Dangerous Overheating Issues After just a few minutes of use, this adapter gets alarmingly hot. It becomes too hot to touch and feels like it could cause damage to my laptop's USB-C port. The excessive heat is a clear sign of poor design and cheap components that cannot handle the power draw. It’s not just warm; it’s genuinely scalding, making me worry about the safety of my expensive electronics. I've had to unplug it multiple times just to let it cool down, which defeats the purpose. Useless USB Ports I purchased this hub to connect a mouse and keyboard, but the USB ports are completely unreliable. My wireless mouse constantly loses its connection, causing the cursor to freeze or jump erratically across the screen. This issue makes it impossible to work or even browse the web. The ports seem to provide power intermittently, which means any device connected to them is at risk of being damaged or simply not working. Failed Power Delivery The hub claims to support USB-C power delivery, but that feature is non-existent. When I plug my laptop's charger into the adapter, the laptop barely receives a trickle charge, if any at all. The battery still drains, just at a slightly slower rate than when it’s unplugged. This makes the pass-through charging port completely useless for anyone who needs to keep their device powered while using the other features. Major Incompatibility Issues This adapter simply does not work with my laptop, even though it meets all the stated requirements. I have tried every single one of my USB-C ports, but the result is always the same: a flickering, unstable display and peripherals that disconnect randomly. It seems to have a severe incompatibility with common devices, making it a complete gamble on whether it will function for you. This product is a testament to why you should never trust a generic brand's claims. The "3-in-1" Deception The name of this product is a total lie. It claims to be a 3-in-1 hub for HDMI, power, and USB, but it fails at all three functions. The HDMI flickers, the charging doesn't work, and the USB ports are a joke. You might as well have a black plastic block with a useless cable attached to it. The product is not a "3-in-1" hub; it is a "0-in-1" hub. Terrible Build Quality The adapter is made of cheap, flimsy plastic that feels like it could break at any moment. The cable is thin and has no proper strain relief, so it feels like the wires could snap with minimal bending. The ports themselves are wobbly and feel insecure when you plug a cable in, which likely contributes to the constant signal drops. It’s a very low-quality product that looks and feels like it was made with zero care. A Source of Constant Frustration This adapter has been nothing but a source of frustration from the moment I tried to use it. The flickering screen, the fear of it damaging my laptop, and the constant resetting of peripherals have made me incredibly annoyed. It’s a product that promises to solve a problem but only ends up creating a dozen more. I would rather just not use an external monitor than deal with this hub again. Final Verdict: A Total Failure I cannot recommend this adapter to anyone. It is a complete waste of money and time. It is poorly made, unreliable, and fails at every single one of its advertised functions. The hub is a textbook example of a cheap, generic product that promises the world but delivers nothing but disappointment. I regret this purchase and will be throwing the adapter in the trash.

Deutlich preiswerter als z.B. ein Apple Original, nach meiner Erfahrung kompatibel mit PC und MacBook. Durch die schnelle integrierte USB-A-Schnittstelle, dem USB-C Anschluss und dem HDMI-Anschluss kann z.B. eine herkömmliche Maus oder ein flotter USB-Stick an einen mordernen Windows-/Mac-Rechner angeschlossen werden. Ein externer Bildschirm (HDMI) und die genutzte USB-C-Schnittstelle stehen weiterhin zur Verfügung. Praktisch ist das kurze Anschlusskabel, weil man dadurch nebenliegende Ports am Rechner nicht blockiert. Ich hatte mir deshalb gleich mehrere Adapter bestellt.

Fonctionne parfaitement, on regrette juste qu'il n'y ai pas de Thunderbolt 2 mais ça on le savait.
