This product is very easy to set up and use. It is extremely portable as long as an outlet is nearby. My 8 year old has had a fun time making these little flip books. I will need to find more flip book ideas for her to go off of and trace as not many are included with the kit.

I’ve never seen my 10 year old with ADHD sit still for so long in my life. This was incredibly engaging for him and the patience he took with it was truly impressive. The light pad is obviously for functional purposes but also made it more exciting for him. The QR code for “tips & tricks” that came in the box doesn’t work, it brings you to a “404 page not found” but we just googled similar things and found plenty of YouTube videos made by other individuals and he had a great time.

So, my little nephew is obsessed with Andymation and flip books. What a perfect birthday gift and a good way to support the creator of my nephew's favorite videos. However, the lightboard stopped working within 2 weeks. I haven't seen it to determine the issue, I was just told about it. Other than that, it's a fine set, but you can buy all the components for less.

Easy to use. Reasonably priced. Lot of fun.

The joy on my ten year old daughter's face, when she rushed in to me with her first flip book, was worth every penny I paid. Bought for her birthday because she has started to enjoy drawing, I thought this would be a great introduction to animation and story telling, and would be fun. As she was tracing over the running figure example in the pack, I wasn't convinced she was sold on it. But once she'd coloured in each of the 24 images and bound them together, she was blown away by the result. Everyone has seen it. We've since been talking about ideas she has, we're looking at YouTube channels for what's possible and for tips on techniques, and this is doing exactly what I hoped it would. Everything in the kit is top quality. The binding screws are solid, the paper is a lovely weight and the light is great. I have a 2m usb extension cable and I'd recommend a long cable so that proximity to power and a flat surface isn't an issue. The only thing it's missing, although it's not enough to drop a star...I would like it if there were two bumps in the margin of the light to hold the paper in place when tracing (I've seen some that have this)
