Stops Rust Reformer Black Spray Paint for Painted and Bare Metal

Only reasonable rust paint in a spray can I found that works! Recomend..... Handled salt during NY winter on underside of Jeep..... No red rust.... Shake well!!!

Always a good choice and seems to work, will update once it’s been awhile to see how it lasts. Seems to go on smooth and leaves a decent finish. Stays dark and doesn’t lighten with makes it easy to blend and not look rough. Sticks just fine with minimum running

I got this rust converter to touch up some rusted shelving units. After removing heavy rust and doing a quick clean, I used the spray on all the rusty spots. After several weeks it is holding up well. I just used one coat, it leaves a matte black finish. The spray was easy to use, once I got near the bottom of the can however, I had to be more particular with the angle for it to properly spray.

I bought a metal bistro set . A table and two lovely iron chairs. They were Rusty. And this stuff worked perfectly. Excellent coverage. Two cans and it was completely done.

10/10 product! Worked great after throwing on some ospho on my 2005 Chevy 2500HD frame then applying this as a base coat. Was very surprised on how good it came out especially due to me not having much experience with spray paint. I will say I wish the nozzle was a little bit better in a way to spread out the paint more but overall I had a great experience with this product and plan on using this more in the future!!!

effective as a primer for rusty items. dries quickly for re-coating with final finish

I bought this because I had light rust beginning to appear on one of my exterior wheel wells. I followed instructions, lightly sanded area, washed with soap and water rinsed let dry and then applied light coats. two to three. from a foot distance. I usually do an average job at things, but this one I can proudly say turned out excellent! Ease of use!!! It applies real easily! Nice finish!!! Didn't even have to paint, since it resembles the color of my car. I don't want to invest more money on a car that is aging so this fits the bill! I hope rust stays away, or is at least delayed before I retire!!!

Very impressed with the product. It worked like magic on my rusty metal ladder. Since I spray painted it, the paint is still there despite facing harsh elements as the ladder is outside in the balcony under severe hot and humid climate .

As described, Rust-Oleum produce a good product, and it appears to do a good job.
