Brought for parent who has dementia, stops her switching plugs off.

Has stopped my children switching off the sockets. Had no problems with installation. Was sturdier than I expected too. To be honest, I was expecting to be disappointed due to the price and some reviews, however was pleasantly surprised. Maybe we were lucky, but we have had no issues with it all and has done the job exactly as we wanted it to.

I needed this to stop my little boy from turning on his main bedroom light at night. He would love to play all night if it was on. You have to unscrew the switch panel slightly to slide it behind before tightening it again. I absolutely hate the little key it came with. It is sharp, uncomfortable to hold and I was never able to open it using it. Instead I push the little clip in to open it using a mini spanner. It does work though. I only pop in the top clip as it's super difficult to open again otherwise. Does the job although I wish the open/close mechanism was not so tiny/ difficult to use.

It was easy to install, seems secure enough to the wall. However with enough force it can be squeezed open by an adult without the use of a key.

Bit fiddly to work out at start but you get it when you look carefully at it.. bought this item as my autistic son (7 years old) has now started a thing with switches hes now climbing up to put my cooker switch on to try switch the hob lights on as they light up he loves lights but doesnt understand it heats up so for his safety and ours this was a godsend he cant get open a lifesaver really love the product and deliverd really quick! Thanks :)

Does not securely lock - opens without the use of the keys. Bought to isolate tumble dryer for a person with Alzheimer’s and it doesn’t work. Double covers seem more durable, single covers are cheaper plastic
