Great for all the random stuff you need frequently around the shop
This toolbox is a perfect topper to any Makita or Festool systainer stack. I use it for things like duct tape, mechanical pencils, common fasteners and a set of driver bits. It actually fits quite a bit of stuff.

This is for a handyman-must!
Light weight, stackable with other Makita storage case, slim design. Plastic parts and top lid seems fragile.

Great For Carrying A Lot of 18V Makita Batteries
I have a lot of Makita tools that use the 18v batteries. In an average workday I might use a dozen, or more. I was charging them on site, but that got to be a hassle and I risked forgetting the charger and batteries on it or having them stolen. So I have all my chargers set up at home. I can charge 16 batteries at a time! Which is a PERFECT number since this little case will hold 16 Makita batteries, 4 in each compartment. When they're fully charged, I put them in the case right side up and when I switch drained ones for fresh ones, I put the drained ones in upside down/face down, to tell the difference. So now it's very easy to take all my batteries to job sites, easy to take them home to put on the charger, and easy to tell which ones are charged and which ones need recharging. It's really just a perfect case for this use. And with 16 batteries, at around $100 - $120 each, that's approaching $2,000 worth of batteries. So it's VERY IMPORTANT to be able to keep track of, and protect, such a valuable investment every day. WELL WORTH THE PRICE.
