Crash Bandicoot

Crash Bandicoot is a timeless classic! The vibrant graphics, unforgettable soundtrack, and challenging platforming still hold up today. This game defined my childhood on the PlayStation One and perfectly captures the nostalgia of the '90s gaming era. Whether it’s the quirky humor or the satisfying gameplay, Crash will always have a special place in my heart. A must-play for any retro gaming fan!

Never got to play this game as a kid and as an adult now, I really liked how hard this one is. As well as the heavy influence borrowed from Tex Avery cartoons (to the extent that every single character in this game was voiced by one man) and Crash's look in this game specifically. The music for the most part, is decent and fitting, but most of it isn't all that imposing or impressionable. At least to me. This isn't to say that there aren't some banging tunes in this game. Special mentions go to the songs used for the stage The Lab and the Dr. Neo Cortex boss fight. My only real gripes would be the fact that this game doesn't support analog joystick controls and is very a short game. I beat the game, acquired all of the gems and got 100% in only 3 days. For me, this game has a much better aesthetic than it's sequels and is, in my opinion, far superior to the 2017 remake.

As shown in the video I have attached, the disc is very damaged and is unplayable. 👎🏻

Man...I have loved this game since 1996...I got this and a bunch of other essential PS-1 Games for christmas. This was an abvious favorite (Besides the first Resident evil and Treasures of the Deep) with 3-d layout and practical free range of the level i was jumping around and having fun for hours breaking boxes and running from boulders! This is really the only game that gives Mario and Sonic a run for their money! Now i love those titles as well but i was a PS-1 guy as of 1996 for sure! there are those that claim Crash 2 is a better game...I have to disagree, i think it's just an add more short levels version of this. My girlfriends niece and nephew love this game! Even being in the x-box and WI generations :) and that works for me. Ill be sure to show my child this and other old school gems when they are born too!

Well, good thing is I got early. The bad part is, it wasn't in the original case they put it in a ps2 case, and the back of the disc was scratch. When I told them this all they had to say was that I should take it in to get it cleaned. So I did, works now. But I'm never gonna get anything from vintage gaming zone.
