K&N Engine Air Filter: High Performance, Premium, Powersport Air Filter: Fits 2009-2018 ROYAL ENFIELD (Bullet B5, Bullet C5, Bullet G5, Classic) RO-5010

Huge improvement over my stock air filter. I got it for my '16 Royal Enfield Bullet 500. UCE engine. Stock filter is too restrictive. This one has less pleating on the interior, and allows air to flow freely. My bike is no longer choked for air. When installing you need to cut the old filter from the steel lid, and scrape residue/solvent clean. This filter is a little thicker than stock, so I had to cut the sealing lip off one side to get the thickness right. Then I glued lipless side to the lid with napa ultra black sealant, that rtv on roids stuff they use for oil pans and engine assembly. Fits just right. Make sure the filter lip and the plastic air box seal are almost flush to each other. Otherwise, the filter, or plastic air box won't seal right.

I replaced the standard paper air filter on my Royal Enfield Rumbler 500 with this one and the effect is astonishing. My bike used to hit a wall at aprox. 4.500 RPM (max. 6.000 RPM per tachometer). After using the bike for about 57.000 km, I saw adds for these filters and decided to give them a try. I have now 8.000 km on them and the bike is notably more powerful, does not hit a wall while accelerating and is, in general, clearly more spirited. Highly recommended.

I stuck a nut in the plate and attached a rubber packing around it to fit it. The filter fits tightly without gaps.

The filter is great but to make it fit right I had to remove the metal plate from the original filter and glue it on the replacement filter. Does seem to have more power.

Installed this on my Re Classic 500. Simple replacement. Any difficulties were due to the way royal enfield builds its airbox. Will buy this again if we (the bike and myself) are still around in ten years.

I used this on my Royal Enfield 500 Classic Chrome. The Bike not only SOUNDS GREAT but It's faster and smoother. I highly recommend this product.

I have put this as a replacement of my OEM filter in my classic 500 desert storm. It fits fairly easily. The first things you notice in your bullet is it reduces the jerks your bike gives at lower speeds by a very good extent. Your bike is definitely smoother than what it would have been without this. I could also notice that my bike picks up faster than what it did before. I would recommend this to all those bullet owners especially for Fuel Injected bikes. Update after using it for 2.5yrs: I had cleaned the bike air filter only once so far, probably about a year back from today. I plan do clean it once again very soon though I don't notice any difference in the bike's performance. K&N says people use this for 20k to 30k MILES before a cleaning is needed, but considering the dusty conditions in India even if we clean it once every 10 -15k KMS or atleast once a year that would still be early :) I am super happy with the product and as a result I have even upgraded my car's air filter with K&N and see an increase in fuel economy & miinor performance.
