How thick is the spine?

I've measured 100 of these at this time, and they all measure 21/132" thick at the spine without the coating. I have tried a multitude of knives in this size range, and unless I make a custom cutter, I see no need to spend my money on any other Knife than this or the BK11.

will it fit into the extra slot in the sheath for the bk9 it is designed for the bk13...

I bought one of these thinking the same thing, but it doesn't work. The BK13 is significantly smaller than the BK14, and the differences in blade profiles and size prevent it from fitting inside.

Does the sheath have a belt clip?

No, the sheath is designed to be carried as a neck knife. There is a belt clip that can be purchased and added to the sheath. Once the clip is added it makes for a nice fixed blade edc.

Does the knife sheath dull the edge? Some say it does and others say it doesn’t.

I have 2 of them,mine don't dull up the blades.maybe if you put it in the sheath crooked and forced it in it would.just push it in to the sheath straight until it clicked in ,should be good.
