These work really well at helping hold the fabric together as I’m sewing the binding on my quilt coats. They are just plastic and kinda flexible and I enjoy the different colors. I do quite a bit of 1/4 inch seems so the tip helps me to stay on track pretty easily

This simple tool has become one of my most used items when sewing. I use it to help feed seam allowances under the presser foot, to open tiny seams when pressing, and most of all, to poke out corners when turning items. I find myself reaching for it frequently! This set is probably more than you need, but you can share with a sewing friend (I gave one to my daughter). It also helps to keep one at your machine and another at the ironing board. I can't believe I've been sewing for so many years without one!

I would always struggle when I needed to put elastic in pants or shorts. Then I found these and got them. They are great and I recommend them. I have no trouble at all now putting elastic in my pants. It's hard to find pants that don't tie at the waist, and for me that is uncomfortable. So, I take out the string and put in elastic. This makes it much easier and quicker. For me, they work better on lighter materials then heavy ones, but I am also arthritic and that may make a difference. They are very durable and hold up great. I like the different colors that come in the package. I also liked that Amazon had a good variety to choose from. You can choose what you like and what would work best for you. I am so glad I found these.

I like the idea and using the "Purple Thing" but am a little disappointed in the size and flimsy aspect to the ends. The 1/4" end is clever and the threading aspect is nice to use like a bodkin but again, too flimsy for much pressure. The tools are also relatively short so there is not a lot of area that things can be pulled through at a time. Overall, nice to have in the toolbox!

These work fairly well. Like the colors and pack of 5 as I am always looking for it and it's nice to have more than one!

Great accessory to help where your fingers are too big to fit and you need to nudge something. I used this for a fabric weaving project where I was using 1/2" strips. There's no way my finger would be able to guide the weaver without completely messing up the laid fabric pieces. Also great when you need to adjust something close to the sewing machine needle and you don't want your finger to get stabbed.

Great pointer keeps fingers out of the way of needles. I for each of my machines. Also great for touch screens.
