Casio AD-12MLA AC Adapter for Electronic Keyboards

Good but expensive

Good product

It came. To install in to my Casio Keyboard, I had to figure out why I had no power at keyboard. 1) First was 120V outlet had bad contacts. 2) The contact pad of the Jack inside of the Keyboard was bent. Took a little bit of work to get the contacts to touch the power adaptor plug.(I completely disassembled the keyboard, only to find that I could have fixed the the bad jack with a tiny pick tool) (reason here was we where using another non-standard power adaptor, and its plug was a smaller size. I guess my son had bent the jack after inserting and removing the plug in the last 4 years. New propper Casio adaptor works.

Now i'm using my portable keyboard without any problem. It's Casio's excellent quality as always.

Note: when I purchased this I selected Amazon LLC as the seller (there are multiple sellers on this product page). The power supply I received is a genuine Casio OEM product and works perfectly with my Privia PX-320. I awarded it five stars because it is identical to the original power supply that was bundled with my PX-320. I tested it for overheating and other potential problems before storing it in my spares bag. One thing I dislike about this and other Casio power supplies is the fact that the cable is pretty thin, That is the reason why I ordered this one as a spare in the first place. I also compared this to some third party power supplies that were supposed to be compatible. I opted to pay the premium price for this one just for peace of mind. I may order one of the other third party ones to evaluate it now that I do have a viable spare, but in the meantime I do not regret paying extra for this one because I cannot afford to have a malfunction at a gig.

Do not buy it for Casio Keyboards, it is not compatible and won’t power your keyboard.
