Down Shift Hydration Pack

This is a great hydration pack. I use it for mountain biking on some fairly aggressive trail and it stays put well. It sits on your lower back just above you butt which helps keep your center of gravity low. It keeps water cold for hours, is lightweight and feels quality. There are a few other sipper pockets for storing snacks/tools etc., but it won't hold a lot extra when the bladder is full. I consider this a positive for aggressive MTB riding as it keeps it's size and weight down. A few tips: - Add a little ice to your water and it will stay cold for hours. - Blow air back into the hose after drinking to push the water out (back into the bladder) so your next drink isn't hot. NOTE: If you waist is > 35/36 inches, the hose may have trouble reaching the holding clip. You could replace the hose with a longer one or maybe clip it the other way behind your back but this isn't as ideal.

Perfect for day hikes! The hip belt fits larger hips without a problem, it's comfortable to wear, and water stays cold. There's plenty of room to add in car keys/fob, money, cell phone (even a large phone), and a few snacks.

Great hip bag with a great of water storage system. If you add too much water it fits a bit too large on the back making it feel like you got a huge donk when mountain biking.

This arrived without a bite valve. I checked all the pockets in the backpack and NOTHING. I am leaving on a trip so had to order one separately and have it rush delivered. Gave 3 stars because it is otherwise a fine product.

This pack is amazing. The pack is insulated and keeps water cold for hours in the Arizona Heat. I use it mostly for mountain biking. It’s super comfortable. Has pockets which is amazing. You can cut the straw to fit which is awesome. Only annoying this is the straw had a clip that was hard to do while riding (easy if hiking) but it was an easy fix. Just bought a little Magnet instead and it worked like a charm.
