Okay I got our first test today on these microphones. We were in the ghost town of Silver Reef Utah ( high in the mountains—it was a windy windy day (25 mile an hour winds) and we were about to give up on recording our daily YouTube singing video. We hooked up 2 mics using the extension cords and splitter to an Android phone. Let me tell you the results were amazing. The mics subdued the wind noise and the traffic noise and brought our voices and tenor Uke out clearly. Buy this product— but you will need to get a 3.5mm-5 tw adapter to convert your USB phone input to a mini plug. Customer service was amazing and sent one to me immediately. I am totally pleased with this experiment in sound recording on a cell phone. If you use a I-phone you will need an we have used the mics many times now. They are amazing. We do a lot of recording in noisy outside venues. The mic cut out almost all the ambient noise and allow us to record live where never could befor. We’ve used them dozens of times and the results can be see on YouTube where we we have over 300 individual posts. Also on Facebook (Nevada Hootenjammers). I LOVE THIS PRODUCT. Apple Lightning pigtail is needed in the headphone Jack to headphone jack to adapt to a mini plug. Order separately BUY IT. You will be happy you did. Great value. Mics feel well made. Sound is clear. Foam filters provided to reduce wind and breathing noise. Mic picks up voice from most angles when mic is near your mouth but doesnt seem to pick up background noise too much. Reciever seems cheaply made but functions without concern. Range seems to depend upon environmental conditions. Mic worked from several hundred feet away through the exterior walls of a house one day then from 30ft free air outside another day. Range exceeds my family karoake needs. Will be buying more to replace my wired mics (cables keep failing - people that dont use mics professionally do not understand the cheaper cable sensitivity).

Good sound quality and plenty of wire for long distances. I use these for a school news show and they’re super easy to clip on and set up. For the price it’s a great deal and it really makes a difference. I record on an iPad, so I use these instead of using the internal mic, and it sounds so much better. You definitely have to handle these carefully, but they’re a must for any recording of voices.

The Lapel interview microphone kit is exactly what I need for using with my iPhone and my to be received DJI Pocket 2 camera for Vlog purpose. I tested the kit with my iPhone, the sound quality is comparable with the built-in mic of the iPhone and it is very easy to use. The construction and the materials of the kit appeared to be of great qualities. I particularly impressed with the completeness of the kit, it has contained everything which I will be needed when recording my interview vLog footages. In addition, 1. It took only one day for me to received the package after I placed the order. It is just incredible! 2. The customer service of the product responded to my inquiry of missing spare wind muffs in the received package immediately, and offered full refund or replacement (without returning the original package). This is way beyond my widest expectations.

08/26/2021 UPDATE: Now the sellers are asking me to remove this review all together. 08/24/2021 UPDATE: After this review was published the seller asked us to remove the disclaimer which is against the law and we declined. I like the product but not the seller. This is a wired set. There are two microphones, two extension cables, a size converter, two clips, two additional foam covers for the microphones, a bag and a splitter (also has nice cable ties). The length of the cord for the microphones is very long, the extension cables provide even longer length. Hooked this up to my go pro, one mic on the exhaust of my car and the other on my shirt and it did a great job. The microphone are easy to use and the sound is pretty good. Other than the go pro, I also put this on my canon t6i and my iphone. The sound came over very clear and I was impressed. Besides testing this on my car, I also used it talking, eating, singing just to hear the sound difference. My voice came through really well with very little background noises. I was actually in the market for another microphone so this was perfect without seeming cheap or being too expensive. Disclosure: This product was given to me by the company to promote however it did not affect my opinion of the product and I was NOT coached by the company to post this review.

It produces a good, clear sound, natural and rich, but one of the mics stopped working the second time I used it. Bad luck? I'm not sure, but this is the first time something like this happens to me in the middle of a video recording session. We didn't notice the problem until I went home to edit and found out one of the voices was nothing more than reverb picked up by the other mic. I'm really disappointed with this brand, and there's nothing Amazon will do since the returning window has passed. I'll update this review if I get contacted by the brand and they fix this problem for me. **UPDATE Dec 18th** a representative from SLINT contacted me and asked me about the problem I had with one of the mics. He immediately offered me a replacement or a full refund to buy something else. Customer service was so good I'm giving the brand another chance, since they honor their products warranty and give kind and swift response to our inquiries or claims. I'll test the new mics they sent and update this review accordingly.
