Works great with Home Assistant
Zigbee version: I can adjust the temp up and down, turn on off and read temp through HomeAssistant. This uses semiconductor control and not relays, which is nice and quiet, no clicks. My only very minor criticism is that the display is a little harder to see at an angle. Definitely not bad like an unlit LCD but still not perfect. I'll take that trade off since the display seems to auto dim and is very nice to look at. It isn't a bright beacon at night. I dont know if outside temp is only on the wifi version but I haven't been able to get it to display. Maybe its only with their gateway?I am glad I bought these.

They're great - but watch the load they trip... read below
The APP is okay - but honestly after you get it setup and have everything running and make your zones it's pretty awesome. You can save a ton of money over time using Sinope. I have a 4,800 square foot cabin that's in the mountains and it get cold cold cold here. My bills went from $680 to about $500 a month after installation. The Sinope system lets me control the rooms I'm in and I've programmed it perfectly timed with the events that happen in my house. From watching TV and heating the living room, to the bar, to the movie theater, to bedtime and also combined with other actions Alexa can turn the heat on for you when you're on your way home. The Alexa integration is always a win but takes a little time to setup. No for the only downside to these - they go into OL mode quite a bit - now it could be my problem or possible the circuit breaker. I have 4000 watts of baseboard heat which should be fine for the 4000 watt thermometer however - if it's on for days straight it always goes into OL(overload) mode and shuts down. In most cases - it's a go to the electric panel and reset and you're back in business. I have had to replace one of them as it never reset from OL mode. This seems to be a thing. However, for that small issue stated above - these are basically it in the lineup of baseboard heater control with app. And that's not a bad thing because for the most part I love these, just be careful on the load. Oh, and watch some install videos on taking a 4 wire to a 2-wire thermostat if you're running 220-240.I'd still buy them today reading this review and having installed them - hope that helps. Customer service is really nice as well so that's a bonus.

Great line volt thermostat.
This is a Canadian company who truly stands by their product. I ordered the wrong thermostat at first. 3000W. My heater is 4000 watts. I then realized this thermostat doesn’t work without a hub. Make sure you guys are aware of that! The company responds to emails almost in real time. They’re polite and respectful. They answer any and all questions you may have. It’s really cool to find a thermostat that supports 2 wire and 240volts that’s also a smart WiFi thermostat. It’s built very well! Can’t wait until my hub comes so I can really see what this baby can do!

Works great for forced fan heater control, integrates with Hubitat
I bought the Sinope TH1124ZB to use with my forced fan baseboard heaters and it works great! When I set a temperature it will run the heater in short runs to keep it consistent unlike the prior knob-based control I had which resulted in temperature swings. I already had a Hubitat home automation system so I use the Sinope TH1124ZB with it instead of Sinope's hub. The only thing I wish was different is that I wish it had more access to controls and data on the unit itself. For example, using Hubitat or the Sinope hub you can switch it off completely, but with the two buttons on it you cannot. The thermostat is also capable of monitoring power usage and reporting it back to a hub it's connected to. This works for Hubitat, but I wish I could pull that information up on the unit itself without a hub. Overall I think it's a great product. When I reached out to their support team to ask about a few features they were quick to respond and very helpful.

Works perfectly
We have a sunporch that needs extra heat for our comfort on very cold or cloudy days. Our previous thermostat would seek around, and we were often too hot or too cold. This thermostat works perfectly. It also integrates perfectly with Home Assistant, which lets me monitor how it's doing, and lets me set up automations to turn the heat down if we're not using the room.

Perfect for home assistant.
If you have baseboard heating and can figure out Zigbee in home assistant I'd highly recommend this product especially if your current thermostat is from the 80s like mine.

Politics in customer service?
I ordered two of these, one unit ended up having a defective display. Contacted their customer service and they sent out a replacement.UPS says I need to pay them 130.16 USD??? I dug deeper with UPS and come to find out Sinope sent this out and claimed it on the paperwork as a "sale" rather than a "repair" so different duty taxes are applied. UPS wants $130.16 to release it. You can keep it.After I contacted them this was their response: "The thermostat was sent under warranty , if there's fee , that is out of our control with the current customs fees at the border impose by Mr Trump". LMAO I'm keeping the busted one and refusing the delivery of the replacement. Every time I will look at the display from this day forward will always bring a smile to my face knowing there is a french canadian seething.
