GE WB06X10596 Air Filter for Microwave

Product is exactly as what came on the microwave. Buying through Amazon was easy and inexpensive. Filters were not available at local stores.

The filter was as expected; nothing more and nothing less than what I had before. This was a replacement to the original as the original was lost when remodeling my kitchen. It was simple enough to install, however, I give this product only 3 stars because the shipping was such a nightmare. It took forever to get it even though it said to allow up to 7 business days it was much longer.

To my surprise this product arrived slightly earlier than expected. Also, it fit just fine even though it was a generic model or at least I at it is. I went on the GE website replacement parts and Sears, both wanted $50 bucks which I knew was a scam. I am glad I found this item on Amazon for about $10. This is why sears is going out of business because they are far better options out there now.

The filter fits perfectly in the slot under my microwave above the range. It's then, so it's easy to twist and bend. I was able to get it mostly straightened.

I had ordered what I thought was the correct filter for our microwave from Amazon, but it was too narrow. I'm not sure why that happened. I should have used the measurements instead of what I thought was the correct filter for this GE Microwave, so I accept the responsibility. I'll keep track of my order number and order from this supplier again.

This is just what I needed - perfect fit - to replace, rather than try to clean, the filter on the microwave in our new home (10 years old.) The company is great to work with - following up with me to help me determine if it would arrive before I moved. And it did! Highly recommend Industrial Filter Sales on Amazon Marketplace!

I read a number of reviews who said this was a flimsy filter and nothing like the OE part. And while that may be true, the price is also much cheaper than buying an original GE filter. For the price, I have no problems with it. It fits good, and will do it's job collecting grease. Not much more to say about it.

Filter seems to be working well. It has much smaller openings in it than the filter that came with the microwave, so I'm expecting it to clog up sooner. But that should also mean that it's doing more filtering. The filter fit perfectly in our GE overhead microwave.Price seems a bit high for what it is, but its the best price I found.
