Connectors appear larger than the original
Just received my order and at first it seems to match the old igniter but after further review the wire connectors are larger than the original. (Several other reviews say the same thing) I'm still going to try to make it work.....

Replaced the ignitor on my water heater.
The sparky igniter button on our water heater stopped working so I purchased this. I had to connect a ground wire from the ground tab on the back to the metal on the water heater and I unplugged the igniter cable from the bottom of the controller and plugged it onto the connector on the bottom of the new igniter. I now it's not the intended use, but a few dollars for this vs over 100 for a new controller made this a no brainer. And it's easier to re-light the water heater than ever before.

Does not fit
Looks the same but the ignition cord is not the same diameter. Sent it back for a refund. โน๏ธ
