The Voodonala Jeep JK Phone Holder installed easy in my 2015 JK. For people that had difficulty, the mounting screw is Under the stock tray After you Remove it. The replacement tray is plastic so some things in it set up an annoying rattle. I am going to modify the stock rubber tray to fit and quiet the rattling. I found the phone holder stalk fit too tight so I de-burred the hole carefully with a sharp edge. The stalk now easily slides in and snaps into place as it should. So far the phone holder is performing very well and the removable stalk and small base make for an unobtrusive look when not in use. Thanks. DMWorrel

Don't even know where to begin. Seems well thought out, but again, thin plastic never works for very long. While this one holds your phone with a death grip, it's such a pain to get your phone in and out of it, it's just not worth it. And it will take chunks of your dash with it when you uninstall it. A little aluminum and a decent one hand operation of the holder would make this one worth trying, but for now it's just another one headed for the trash can.

First impression of the item, cheap. The plastic is vey flimsy. I know if I squeezed this item, it would crack/break into pieces. No installation instructions came with this item, however, installation is very simple. Installation took no longer than two minutes. After install, I did not like how much of the view (out of the windshield) it took up once my phone was put on. Realistically, I can’t ding this product for that because any phone dash mount you get is going to take up a decent amount of view out of a Jeep Wrangler windshield. Now, after the mount has been installed, it looks like a factory item, which is what I like the most. It comes with a replacement tray so I didn’t have to go buy a new one. The mount seems sturdy and holds my phone securely, even going over mildly rigid terrain. I like how I can rotate my phone horizontally (with ease) while it’s in the mount for a better field of view. I can still access my charging port while it’s in the mount. Overall, I’m generous in my rating of 4 stars. It does exactly what I wanted. I didn’t give it 5 just because of the flimsiness of the plastic. I am delicate when putting my phone in and taking it out just because I get the feeling the spring inside the clamping device (for the phone) will break if you’re not. If this had a better/solid item construction, 5 stars all day.

Bought this about a year ago for my Jeep Wrangler, and while it was not hard to install, and worked great for the first three months, once summer hit the rubber padding on the upper grip loosened and came off completely. It's lost and I have no idea where it fell off too. So I've been having to try to find something to replace the grip with and have found nothing. Without the grip my phone falls out of the holder after a few minutes or hitting a small bump. Twice when my phone has come out the screen has broken.

I recently purchased a 2013 Jeep Wrangler 2 door Sport. I searched stores and online for a phone holder mount for it. There really is no place to put a mount on the Jeep without glueing, sticking, or drilling. I finally came across ones that used the screw under the dash tray. Take out the tray, take out the screw and use the screw to hold the new mount. However, they seemed expensive $70 or more. I kept looking and found the Voodonala. It is perfect. Took me about 15 minutes to install it., It looks great and comes with a tray that fits. If you have read this far, just buy it

I tried so many phone mounts before I found this one. The jeep vents just aren’t stable enough for the clip mounts and the arm mounts were annoying. This bad boy doesn’t move and doesn’t take away from my road view. Took literally 2 minutes to install. My only complaint is that the tray has no grip, so whatever is in there slides around and is a little noisy. So I just put some tape on grips inside.

Pros: TRAY MOUNT fits perfectly in the dash part of my 2008 Jeep Wrangler JK Unlimited. Tray is also easy to install and fits perfectly snug without being so tight it caused damage when you have to remove and reinstall for things like radio installs. The tray is spacious, little to no vibration while traveling. Your items stay secure in the tray and the lip of the tray is angled perfectly so if you have to hit your brakes suddenly, most items stay on the tray. I am so impressed with the tray, it works well and does not block any views on its own. Cons: The PHONE MOUNT is AWFUL! It really needs a REDESIGN and the whole this is DIFFICULTLY DISAPPOINTING . I currently use an iPhone 15 Pro Max. The installation of phone mount onto the tray was complicated. Installation Directions were missing from my package and the pieces included to secure the mount did not tighten securely. The position where the mount is placed on the tray is not truly compatible for larger phones of any brand. It is impossible to connect a charger while phone is mounted due to lack of space between bottom of phone and tray placement. Turning my phone sideways only helped for charging position. Unfortunately, it makes it harder to see or use an iPhone safely on the road. My windshield is not tinted, and the position of the mount keeps your phone in constant direct sunlight of the part of a Jeep Wrangler windshield that absorbs most of the heat from sunlight. This caused my phone to overheat twice and shutdown during a 4 hour drive that I made right after finishing installing. I just had to stop using the phone mount all together on the tray and order another separate mount to use for now. For now (12/15/25) I still have the tray installed in my Jeep without the phone mount. It not the desired look I want for my Jeep, but I can live with it until I find a replacement that does work better.

Excelente soporte para cel, es liviano, tiene un orificio para instalarlo con el tornillo que está de fábrica en la consola del jeep (se requiere un dado de 6 mm aprox), y en la parte trasera trae una cinta tipo 3m para que ajuste aún más. Sostiene muy bien a mi iPhone 11 y es color negro, parece como un soporte de fábrica. Aún no lo pruebo manejando mi Jeep pero espero no tener ningún inconveniente.

Installs easy. Hold the cell phone. Good to have.
