Used this as a cover for water protection. Thick material. Seems it may tear if a sharp object punctures it, but I used extra duct tape where it may be exposed to something sharp. Worked well through one rainy season so far! Let’s see how it goes through the sunny season and next rainy season.

They withheld through the winter great. Tarped a few areas using 3 of these. I also feel comfortable walking on them without sticks poking through, as opposed to some tarps. Ideally though you clear the area of anything that will pierce the tarp first.

It looks like great quality, but the durability is very poor.

Wouldn’t buy this again all the silver flaked off not good for all seasons

This tarp is a very heavy duty tarp that will last a while. I picked this tarp up several months ago, and it is proving to be very durable. I use it on my trailer outside, so it's in the elements all the time. I'm impressed, and will buy another one once this one eventually wears out.

Used it outdoors to cover boat. Didn’t last even a year and it already has a huge rip on top. Disappointed.

This tarp is the right size to cover a single garage roof with plenty to spare all the way round if you are looking to tie the edges down to points on the brickwork. I just folded the excess underneath and used concrete blocks to weight it down (I've got about 300Kg on there around the edges, and a few blocks in the middle). VERY thick at 0.4mm and a weight of between 270gsm and 280gsm. Definitely a cut above what you'd be buying as a "cheap" tarp from elsewhere and worth it if you have something valuable to protect and want long-term durability. 100% waterproof and mine have been up for about 9 months or so through the last autumn, winter and spring 2026. No signs of wear or degradation. They're double-sided in colour too, although the silver edges from the silver side are folded over and sewn on the black side so you can see them (this won't matter if you're folding all the edges over though). Silver of course is the better colour for reflecting the sun's heat, but the black side blends in better with existing roofs if you're using this as a cover on a failed area. At this price, they're very good value for money in my opinion and I'm glad they're still available as I'll probably be buying a couple more to keep as spares.

Great and study tarp. I used it under my tent for moisture isolation. It worked wonderfully and produced quite decent thermal insulation too. Very helpful during rainy spring. The material is quite thick. It is a bit hard to fold to tuck the extras under the tent, but I'd rather sacrifice the convenience for durability.
