BLUE DEVIL HEAD GASKET SEALANT

This product worked for my car that has a leaking/blown head gasket. BUT this is NOT a permanent fix!. It lasted 1 year, the first time I added this to the water. So had to purchase this item again to repeat the process. This item came in a much bigger bottle so you only need to use half of it. It is very easy to use, Just follow the instructions on the back of the bottle. But one thing I didn't bother doing was removing the thermostat before starting the job, I just emptied some of the coolant from the bottom of the radiator, so to leave room in the water system for the Blue Devil liquid when pored in. It worked 100% for me on my Rover 416, year 1998 It may not work for all, but I suppose its worth ago to save the hefty price of paying for a new head gasket ? No complaints, only praise = 5 stars

Much to my amazement this product appears to work, I have only done 500 miles or so since adding the product to the cooling system, having meticulously cleaned it before hand, but so far so good. I have not added the antifreeze yet so only time will tell.

Well to be honest i never really expected it to work, I used it on a Mitsubishi 2.8 TD with a blown head gasket, it was pressurising the cooling system. Procedure was , Remove thermostat attach hose pipe to engine run fresh water through system with engine running for 1.5 hours. Attach expansion bottle pour in barrs engine flush run engine again for an hour and leave in system over night , next day run up to temp and drain coolant by removing bottom hose. Reattach hose and run clean water through system with engine on till it runs clear turn engine off and allow hose to continue to ensure all flush is out and engine cools down. Refit expansion bottle top up leaving enough room for blue devil , add the required amount of blue devil slowly to cooling system with engine running refit cap and allow to idle for 2 hours. after 2 hours turn off and leave overnight to cool. Refit thermostat and top up system with 30% antifreeze and refill with drained blue devil mix. In total took a couple of days and cost £65 in materials. Still pressurising cooling system so not worked and wasted a lot of time and some money. Lesson is Head Gasket and bolts for this engine cost £45 head skim ( if needed ) £45 oil, oil filter and coolant £45 Time to do job 2 days . So £135 in parts and about the same in time , and I still need to do this. so moral of the tale if it sounds too good to be true , it probably is. I watched a lot of you tube stuff on these products before buying this one and it seems to work for some people , sadly not for me. I should have given the £65 to charity and just done the job properly , it would all be finished now. .

As a bmw tech we flow instructions to the T And this was waste of money and time do not use it save your money and get the head gasket replaced

Didn't really do the wonders it said it would.. I suppose there's no such thing in the real world! 😥 When your engines gasket is gone I'm afraid you're gonna have to take it to the mechanics and replace it simple as that stop dreaming and hoping and wasting money on this so-called miraculous solutions.. 🤣

Funcionó bastante excelente, hay algunos trucos que quizás no sea recomendado o tarde más pero pueden ayudar a que sellé mejor, como esperar a repose totalmente un día con el líquido aún en su interior y volver a repetir el proceso, esperar a que enfríe totalmente (unas 3 horas) y ahora sí hacer el cambio a antifrezze

My car is Old AU Ford 2000 model Ute , Australian made and one day I checked my water level and I forgot to put the lid or cover back . And I was driving for 3 days delivering goods and the sudden steaming coming out from the engine , when I opened i was shocked and I pour water in and since then leaking radiator plus loosing more engine oil and my friend told me to older Blue Devil . We follow the instructions and now my car back to normal , Blue Devil is real devil and Awesome
