Do they lose their leaves in Hawaii? Or just stop blooming in December?

During winter the growth definitely slows down but if well kept in spring they bloom like crazy.

How tall is the plant when received?

Ordered 4, all were about 18" tall. Planted about 3 mo ago-- they are all now about 24-36" tall, all blooming beautifully!!!!

Do they do well in pots or have to be planted in the ground?

I had mine in the pots for the summer they didn't do well after a month passed so I put them in the ground and are doing AMAZING!
