I fixed this screen. It worked like charm. Only thing is probably it needs a better glue

Excellent product, packaged well. I install my own home button everything went as planned until i closed the installed screen and it totally cracked. Not sure if I purchase another one. I was right at the finish line.

Just to say - you might be lucky or not with the quality (I was unlucky). This is the second screen I tried from Amazon and my hope in these cheaper screens is going down. Previous one (different seller) - the adhesive was horrible, it didn't hold well what resulted later in cable damage so I had to replace it again. Now I tried a different company - this one. And I bought the glue too...however...(see -) Conclusion: +relatively cheap price +getting all you need (except glue) -lower screen quality -LOW product quality (see picture) - it looks like there is a manufacturing error in the size, it just left a bit of space = not acceptable -needs extra glue - this time I glued, however, due to the screen defect I might need to replace again - on the right side it was too narrow to add glue, and "cables" were loose. -seller thinks I am stupid -if the quality is not good, the absolute price might be in final the same as buying more expensive but higher quality products So all in all, just pay more for products where people are really staying behind it. At the end, it will be maybe the same price and you will lose less time.

After sticker shock from the Apple store for a screen replacement, I decide to try my hand at repairing a broken screen myself as I could buy a new iPad for what apple charges for their screen repairs. I took 2 hours to cleanly remove all residue and broken glass form the old screen. I had lots of damage and shards of glass at the edges and around the old home button as I removed the old home buttoned the shards of glass around it, I cleaned all old residue only to realize the as I began to re-assemble an transfer the home button, there is no adhesive on the new screen to reattach the old home button to the new screen. now I am frantically searching amazon for replacement home button adhesive to reassemble and all the while, my iPad will be in pieces until the adhesive arrives. Very disappointed! Edit... After buying some double sided 3m tape, 3m Primer 94, and CAT Palm B-7000 electronic adhesive, I was able to properly relocate the home button and properly secure it to the underside of the replacement touch screen. Screen looks great, but still would have liked to have had all the proper adhesives as part of this screen replacement. Knocking 1 star due to the lack of a complete kit but otherwise happy with the final results.

First of all - the price of this iPad digitizer is astoundingly cheap - thank you for making this available at this price!!! However, the one I received has a defect where one line across the screen does not work. I bought this at a discount because it was a return and didn't have the tools with it - so maybe someone returned it tested it before they installed it all the way and noticed it. In any case, at this price, I plan to try another one and see if that one works better. I'll include a video to illustrate the issue.

Well it’s the real deal, I couldn’t believe it either complete with the tools you need save your self 250 amd take an afternoon. It’s tough YouTube has a few videos that help.
