With any natural shampoo, you need to know how to properly wash your hair to get the best benefits. Natural shampoos don’t contain emulsifying and foaming agents. I outline the right way to shampoo your hair below, but first, my experience: I have medium fine hair and an oily top with normal ends. I developed an allergy to I believe propylene glycol in my other shampoo and had a very burnt/itchy scalp and hair loss. I searched for hours for a good natural shampoo. I tried Rahua which was fantastic, but SO expensive. Decided to try this one! I wouldn’t recommend for dry hair and would recommend using a conditioner if you have long hair, but great for greasy gals like me! It works so well at breaking up greasiness and left my hair so clean! The photo is next day after sleeping on it wet and air drying. Couldn’t believe the feel, volume, and natural shine. If you need a natural shampoo and are oily and flaky, this is your shampoo. Not to mention how amazing it smells! No fragrances, just natural extracts. If you like orange anything, you’ll like this. HOW TO SHAMPOO RIGHT: 1. Make sure all of your hair is soaked, like super wet. 2. Rub a quarter size amount of shampoo between your hands till it turns white. 3. Apply to your head focusing more on the scalp, and apply in layered sections of you have thick hair. 4. Let it sit for 1-3 minutes (do your other washing/shaving) and then rinse out. 5. Repeat the process (yes, always wash twice!) the second wash will foam up dramatically compared to the first. 6. Let sit 1-3 minutes and wash out thoroughly with cooler water. When you go from using a cheaper shampoo to a nice natural one, you’ll notice a difference. Many complain that they don’t “foam up” but that’s because the first wash is breaking up all the gunk on your head, and the second wash is actually washing! Do yourself and your health a favor, and get acure shampoo!

I love this shampoo! Feels great on my hair. I’m an oily scalp/dry ends type. This stuff gets my hair clean! I love the scent, a very tolerable subtle scent & that is appealing. My hair feels clean after each use & is rejuvenated. My hair goes from oily, limp & dull to shiny, soft, fluffy, manageable & healthy. :) love love love it. The only con with this shampoo is that it lacks a lather, so a double wash is needed to really get a good lather in. However, that is expected with a “clean” shampoo like Acure. I don’t mind a double wash & it’s doable, so there’s that. Overall, one of the best “clean” shampoos on the market! Give it a try!

This shampoo is a life saver and the best thing I've ever used. It's perfect for my hair type (wavy, thick, oily). Listen, my hair is a massive pain to deal with. It gets oily so fast, like by the end of the day its already slicked back and shiny. I have used countless shampoos and conditioners trying to find something that gets rid of the oil and doesn't dry my hair out. Everything I had used before either left my hair still oily or dried it out to the point of making it frizzy. Didn't matter what it was for or how expensive it was. So I am so happy that I tried this shampoo and that it worked for me. I've used this shampoo for about a year now and I love this shampoo because it actually gets the oil out of my hair but doesn't make my hair frizzy afterwards. I don't use conditioner at all, just this shampoo and it's enough to clean my hair and keep it moisturized. Also I love the smell of citrus so I think it smells amazing. I hope they make this shampoo forever because this is my lifeline now. Definitely give it a try if you got hair like mine!

I have purchased this shampoo three times from Amazon. The first two were great, worked very well and smelled good. The third time, it appears they have changed the formula. It is thicker, a darker color and doesn’t smell as good or lather well. I will not purchase again.

I hate buying this stuff online, but I took a chance with Acure and I’m happy that I did. I have a lot of thin hair that’s pretty long. I’m prone to greasy roots. I like how this stuff smells and has done the best job keeping my hair supple, not greasy and shiny. I feel like it has just the right amount of moisture and my hair feels soft over a couple days. As other reviews state, it does take a bit to lather, but when this is the case, I wash again second time which lathers much better. The conditioner is perfect too

I’ve been on the hunt for an affordable yet gentle and clean shampoo for my fragile bleached blonde hair. Granted, I’ve only used this once so far but am already seeing some amazing results. It effectively cleanses my hair without making it feel stripped and dry. It smells nice and lathered well considering it doesn’t have harsh detergents. I paired this shampoo with Acure's simply smoothing conditioner and my hair felt so nice after coming out of the shower that I ALMOST didn’t need a leave in conditioner. Another plus is the next day I skipped washing my hair (I wash my hair 3-4 times a week) and my hair still felt very fresh and not at all greasy. I’m excited to see how my hair feels and looks with continued use.

Great and light product for the hair for daily wash after working out in the gym...have slight scent but so gentle on the hair ...highly recommended
