Perfect for an ant barrier on a tree trunk!
I use this sticky tape as a barrier around the trunks of my citrus trees, and it works like a charm to ensure aphid-farming ants will take their messy business elsewhere!I tried the sticky goop for this purpose before, but you have to wrap the bark in something else first anyway before applying the goop, so why not just wrap the bark in sticky paper?Works for this purposes for a good 3-6 months before having to be re-wrapped. The only reason for this is that dirt and cut grass eventually make their way onto it and then the ants can cross again.

Won't buy again
wire came bent and I had to fight to squeeze it in order to keep the roll of tape on it. Glue is only on one side. Wish it were both. I won't buy again.

Worthless
I'm sure this roll would work great at holding a fly that was unfortunate enough to accidentally blunder into it, but I had it hanging in an area with flies buzzing around for days and that didn't happen even one time. Without some sort of effective attractant to lure flies into landing on it a product like this can not be effective.

They seem to have good attraction, trap and kill flies the way they are supposed to

caught 2 flies
Not sure if the glue was bad or flies are not attracted. The brown tape right next to this caught fifty flies in the same time.
