Prinsco Inc2251 11/2" Check Valve

I have this on my sump pump outlet which is about 3 feet below surface level. The valve seems to leak over time so any water in the discharge hose eventually leaks back into the sump pit. It appears there is not enough water pressure to completely hold the valve shut. I know when I took the valve itself and put water into the top, the valve leaked immediately. It was an inexpensive check valve so you get what you pay for.

Works perfectly, had a long pumping season this year [3 months] still fine.

works well and fits hoses specified must use in verticle position for a tight seal great for check valve for sump pump etc
