We set this fence up for deer (not elk) with 10 foot rebar and zip ties. Seems very well made and no problems two years in.

Amazon has the best shipping deal and price on this product with prime. It states it will last probably longer than I have to live and it is light, easy to work with, I learned from several reviews how others installed it and it was helpful. Chickenwire layer for the lower 24 inches under the net is important, Deer are lazy and can find a way to slide under other wise, they dont like to jump 8 feet but can jump much much higher. Even Before I installed the chicken wire 24” fence a varmit knawed through, Raccoons love the grapes, Deer wipe out the foliage, woodchucks love both.

I put up 330' of this in March and I love it. I debated a long time on whether to go with steel or plastic fence and ended up with the plastic, and I'm glad I did. I put in 10' T-posts every 10' and a heavy wire around the top. All I had to do was unroll the fencing and zip tie it to the top wire, then come back and attach it to the posts with large zip ties. It came out perfect, by far the best looking fence I've ever installed (and I've put up a lot of ugly fences). The light weight makes it so much easier to work withl Before I got it finished I found two deer trapped inside it, and they freaked out and tried to escape, throwing themselves into the fence as hard as they could before finding the open gate. They did zero damage to the fence, they just bounced off it, no worries about its strength!

Takes two people to unroll and zip tie it to posts. Unwieldy large roll for the 7.5 ft. Must be cut and spliced at every angle change, going up and down gullies, around larger areas. We are now working on rabbit wire fencing around the lower 2 ft. The rabbits chew through the Tenax fencing at ground level. Then the deer poke their noses through and work the fence til they can get their heads through. As folks know, if a deer can get his head through an opening, he can get his body through. The Tenax is a whopping lot cheaper than all metal, and better looking than black sprayed chain link. The vinyl coated rabbit fencing is not invisible. Also weeds grow up into the fence. Cannot use a weed-eater near the fence, and spraying the fence line with vegetation killer would hurt beneficial trees .

The hight is keeping the deer out as well as the neighbors donkies 🙄, it’s sturdy but not animal proof. We did have a rabbit chew a hole for its self to get in the garden. We’ve named it petter. All in all, I’m grateful we found it.
