No. It's exactly like a regular pad, only it doesn't have a sticky stripe and it is cool for about 20 minutes.

Do these have self adhesive strips on them?

No, it does not come with an adhesive strip. I received a pacakage that has a green plastic cover and it doesn't come with a self adhesive strip. The image shows the product in purple plastic package, identical to the ones I had received from the hospital and those had a self adhesive strip. Having used one with adhesive strip (from the hospital) and one purchased from Amazon without the adhesive strip, I would say that the adhesive strip would not help much because it still would move around a little bit. Hope this helps.

How long does the product stay cold after activation ?

I usually apply it at bedtime and I'm able to fall asleep using it. I'm guessing it stays cold about 2 hours at the most. I usually don't need to use another one during the night. They work really well for me.

Can you please tell me if you New Mom’s have combined tucks with these pads? Thank you so much! 😊

ABSOLUTELY. My L&d RN taught me to lay a few tucks on the pad then put it into the giant mesh pants!! SAVED MY LIFE!!! These are now my go to gift delivery for new mommies
