What is the CFM air flow per sq' ?

Andreae recommends an air velocity of 49 to 197fpm (feet per minute). So 1 square foot of filter would accommodate 49 to 197 cubic feet per minute. Is this good for capturing normal spray paint?

We use these in our spray booth where we mostly spray finish and they work good.
