What is the difference between this product and TERRO 2 lb. Perimeter Ant Bait Plus T2600?

This product will kill the ants that come in contact with it while the TERRO® Perimeter Ant Bait Plus will be carried back by the ants to the colony, eliminating them at their source. For complete coverage, the TERRO® Perimeter Ant Bait Plus can be used to eliminate the colony, then this product can be used to help prevent another colony from establishing on your property.

Sounds dumb, I know - but how hard do you pull apart the bottom plastic area to reveal the shaker part?

You separate the zip lock at top and turn bag upside down to sprinkle from net covering granuels. Unique and clever design I think.

Can this also be applied on top of grass without killing the grass?

I put this on top of my grass. While the huge ant hill had killed the grass a little, I don't think this made it any worse - and it got rid of the ants.

Can I use this in container plants which ants have invaded?

Yes, as long as they are outside containers. :-)
