Great Budget Filament Dryer!
This is a fantastic, simplistic filament dryer box. Works very well, set your temp up to 50 degrees Celsius, and time up to 48 hours. I will say be careful where you place this dryer. The from bottom location of the box gets VERY hot. I would be worried it might leave heat stains on wood.

Good filament dryer that can handle a pair of 1kg rolls at a time.
We print a lot on our Bambulabs a1 mini, but live in tropical Hawaii, where humidity can be an issue. This filament dryer is a major help. I use it regularly for PLA or PETG filament before printing to avoid ending up with spaghetti. It is also good for resetting desiccant bags. It only has 2 buttons, so it takes some experimentation to figure out how to get the dryer cooking and set the correct timer, but once you figure it out, it works well. You can tell it is working as condensation collects inside the lid during cook time, even with the tiny plugs open. I just open it up, swab out the condensation, and let it get back to cooking a few times when I see a very fogger up lid.

Great filament but better kinds out there.
I recently got my hands on a spool of Comgrow PLA filament, and I've been putting it through its paces on my 3D printer. Overall, I'm impressed with the filament's quality and ease of use, making it a great option for beginners. However, there's one area where it could definitely be improved. Let's dive into the details! Print Quality (9.5/10): This is where the Comgrow filament truly shines. My prints came out incredibly smooth and detailed, with crisp lines and minimal layer lines. The filament fed consistently through my printer's extruder without any clogs or jams, resulting in a professional-looking finish. I was particularly impressed with how well it handled intricate details and overhangs, producing sharp corners and defined features. Sheerness (8/10): The filament boasts a good level of opacity, especially in the darker colors like black and red. While not perfectly opaque, it comes pretty close, and for most projects, it won't be an issue. If you're printing something that requires complete color solidity, you might want to consider a different brand or use a higher infill percentage. Adhesion (3/10): Unfortunately, this is the weakest aspect of the Comgrow filament. I experienced several instances of warping and curling during printing, especially with objects that have a large footprint or lack a strong base. This resulted in some prints lifting off the bed mid-print, causing failed projects. Upping the bed temperature and using a raft or brim helped somewhat, but it wasn't a foolproof solution. Ease of Use (9/10): Despite the adhesion issue, Comgrow filament is generally very user-friendly. It doesn't require any special printing settings and works well with a wide range of temperatures. The filament comes neatly spooled and tangle-free, making loading and unloading a breeze. Great for the price, Will definitely dry your filament
This filament dryer is pretty great for the price. It's actually saved a few of my spools from failing to print or just stringing due to moisture, so I can definitely say it works. The interface takes a little time to figure out, but it's not too complicated, and the instructions are very clear. It doesn't feel like any kind of high quality product, though. You definitely get that "cheap, light plastic" feel when you're using it, but for the price it's hard to complain, especially since you don't exactly need to add extra thickness/weight where it's not needed anyways. I do wish this had a specific spot to put dessicant packets though, as that could help with filament drying, and they're not clear about if you could put dessicant packets in the base of the unit or not. I've only used this for PLA filaments so far, but considering it worked for those, I have no doubts it would work for other filament types such as TPU as well.

Works - but you need to know HOW it works.
Overall I am pleased, but I want to share how this performs. First off, the design changed a little from the pictures, it now has four holes for filament to feed through. Two on the top , as shown, and now two more on the front. All of the holes have silicone seals to close them off, so this is an improvement. Now for the results of my testing. I put a hygrometer inside the case and graphed the results. The unit dries the filament very slowly, so if you have filament that is very moist, you’ll likely need to run this for days to dry it. I averaged around 0.6 to 0.7% per hour (takes about 4 hours before it starts dropping). So it’s slow and steady, which is not a bad thing. Once you have it fairly dry, it will start absorbing moisture again (even if you don’t open the case). In my tests, once the drying cycle completes, the humidity inside the enclosure will start to gradually increase again. Slower than the drying cycle, but steadily increasing. The case has no openings except for filament holes (plugged for testing) and the joint between the base and lid. The drying is accomplished by heating and a small fan that just circulates the air inside the case (it is not vented to the room). So for the humidity to drop the moisture has to be seeping through the joint between the base and the lid. So when the cycle stops, the reverse starts to occur. Final thoughts: I am not pointing this out as a flaw (I still gave it 5 stars), but rather to help others to understand how the device works/behaves. So now I know that the device will need to be run periodically to maintain the target moisture level in the filament AND that the dryer itself is not a good long term storage box. Once filament is dry and won’t be used for a while, it should be stored in something that is air tight to maintain the proper moisture levels.

Great while it lasted!
Worked pretty well for the first year I had it. Randomly started getting an error when plugging it in and will not run at all now. Probably better off just spending a little more and getting something that will last longer.

Fan died but Seller was quick to offer to send a replacement
Edit: Seller contacted me and confirmed that the fan needed replacement and will be sending a new fan to swap with the bad one. Changing to 5 stars for fast service and a good unit that just has a bad fan. If you get this I would also pick up a cheap pack of 4010 12 volt fans so you can easily replace the fan, or just wait for the service response. The fan is just below the supports with 4 screws in deep pockets and the connector is held in with hot glue. This unit is good to dry out two 1kg rolls of filament at the same time and you can even feed the filament directly out of the unit into your extruder. The touch controls are a bit unintuitive but are quick to navigate as it is a very simple device, but effective. It is great for hydroscopic filament like PETG and is great to throw new rolls in just to make sure they are properly dry before first use! Bought this unit in April of 2023 and it is now Jan of 2024 and the fan now only makes an angry buzzing/growl noise with intermittent screeches. This unit was good while it lasted, but the fan is an extremely cheap choice for a heated chamber. I'm tempted to see if I can access the fan and do a fan swap and see if that fixes the issue.

Nothing beats oem factory Fillament made by the people who designed the printer

Pequeno e notável!
Muito pequeno (no bom sentido) aquece rápido e mantém o filamento seco mesmo durante a impressão. Só não é hermético e não serve para armazenar o filamento por muito tempo. Aparentemente (e é como vou usar) vai servir para secar os filamentos antes de guardá-los em uma caixa hermética com dessecante e vou usar para impressões longas, para manter o filamento seco durante horas e horas. Super silencioso, estou tentando comprar outro para meu AMS Lite, mas não encontro mais o mesmo preço!

Préparation des bobines pour impression 3D
Un produit utile pour préparer ses bobines de filaments avant une impression 3D. Il est très pratique à utiliser avec deux boutons : un pour allumer l'appareil, l'autre pour les réglages de température et de temps. la température est réglable de 40 à 50 degrés. Le temps de chauffe est réglable de 6 à 12 heures. Un afficheur indique la température et le taux d'humidité à l'intérieur du boitier.

Works Great!
I ordered the black one to try as the price point was pretty good. I've been very pleased with the products so far! I've had no trouble with adhesion, it sticks to the printer bed cleanly, and has been great for the prints I've been working on. So far my longest print has been 10hrs, which I've run quite a few times and have had not a single issue. Would definitely recommend it.
