Do not order this tea with other products. Amazon will ship all the items in one box, so that everything pummels the bag of tea, effectively pulverizing what are normally nicely dried intact leaves. I have purchased this tea many times to make a delicious ice tea. I am quite happy with the Frontier Co-op organic Ceylon Black Tea, and will continue to purchase this brand (while making sure that is is shipped alone). I use about 2 slightly heaping tablespoons per gallon, so this 1lb size lasts quite a while. The price is very reasonable for a quality organic tea.

If you are looking for a beautiful organic black tea that can be used two days in a row, this is it. I refrigerate the used tea leaves and make a fresh mug of tea the next day with a new teabag. It is dark and delicious.

I’m from Chile, we drink a lot of tea over there; since I live in the states I was searching for a strong and good loose leaf black tea and never find it, I’ve tried many brands from Chinese and India and other countries that I can find in the stores around and other cities when I visit, and this is the first one that finally I can say “I got it!!!” This is the best tea I ever try here. Definitely recommended for those who are lovers of a good tea, great and defined flavor, and organic and fair trade too. This became already my favorite here.

This was a very good price compared to some others i bought recently, Nice large leaves with no small fines, good aroma.... For an idea of how large a pound of loose leaf tea is the volume exceeds the capacity of a 2 qt Cambro food storage container but I can still get the lid on if pressed firmly. I went by instructions for my first cup @ 1 tsp. per 8 oz and thought it was a bit weak and watery for my tastes but @ 1.5 tsp/8oz I was happy with the taste for an economical every day cup of tea.

VERY GOOD! I recall 50 years back when I was a kid and Lipton was good Ceylon tea. Even the Lipton box had a wonderful smell! But now Lipton is horrible so I was hoping to find a Ceylon tea that had the beautiful fragrance and taste I remembered. This is it! Though note the following: There are large leaves, and a minor amount of dust but you'll definitely notice that in your cup. I had to buy a new tea infuser - make sure you have a fine mesh stainless steel one to filter out as much dust as you can - though you will still get a little in your cup. Some teas are good with just a little more than 1 teaspoon of tea to 8 - 9 ounces of water. But I need to use 3 or 3-1/2 teaspoons for this to be flavorful. But oh is it DELICIOUS! Definitely add some half and half as it mellows out this tea and adds a nice, light fruitiness. If you do not use milk, the only oat milk I have found that comes close is Chobani plain oat milk. I use it in my coffee and it is as good as half and half and so much less fat and no animal products. If you are looking for a really good Ceylon tea, this is it. And it is organic! I don't use sugar either!

Smooth flavor. I use a rounded silverware teaspoon in a small kitchen strainer. Steep 4 minutes. The cut is coarse so any strainer works.

I really prefer to buy these teas that are non-radiated, however i love black tea and now that i make kombucha tea, which is fermented to being fizzy, i use it orimarily as m6 choice. ive ordered from other sources but found a decent price here. 👍🏻

This make a great tasting cup of tea, unless you add too much tea or let it steep way too long. Then it gets a slight bitterness to it. If you follow the directions it comes out perfect every time. Just plain old great tasting tea. I am ready for some cinnamon biscuits to go with it. YUMM!!
