This gown is very petty and very comfortable.

Sizing: I bought the size based off measurements. My bust is 40 inches, so I purchased the large, and it fits me perfectly.Style: I'm a women in her late 20s who is into mid-century/retro style (think Modcloth). I find it hard sometimes to find comfortable, classy nightgowns that aren't super revealing nighties but also aren't something out of Little House on the Prairie.This nightgown is really flowy and is aaaaaalmost a mumu, but the neckline and draping are quite elegant. It's definitely roomy, which I like. I like to wear a scarf around my head while wearing this around the house and it suits my retro tastes quite well.Sheerness: I purchased the black nightgown, so I can't speak to the sheerness of the other colors. The black nylon material is not so shear that I'm afraid to let the neighbors see me checking the mail in this, but it's sheer enough that it's not something that could be worn outside for long periods of time without inviting question. I'd like to get the red nightgown if it comes back in stock in myLaundering: I wash it with everything in color water and then hang dry. So far I've laundered it in this manner ~3 times and it's in good shape. If you're worried about washing it with the rest of your clothes, you can always put it in a lingerie bag separately. I'd just make sure not to put it in the dryer.

I love this gown. When I got it I was so disappointed. It looked cheap and hot. I tried to give it as a gift but the receiver didn't like it either. By then it was too late to return it, so I put it in a drawer and forgot about.Then one day I was having a busy week and couldn't get my laundry done. I didn't have a clean nighty so I wore this as a last resort. I'm so glad I did. It's so comfortable and not hot at all. I usually wear cotton night gowns and usually wake up sweaty. With this gown I was comfortable and cool. Didn't sweat at all. I like it so much that I plan to buy a few more. This gown looks like it runs a little large but when I put it on it actually fits pretty well. It's actually true to size. Some reviewers have complained it looks a little matronly. It doesn't. It's pretty and feminine. But even if it did, personallyI don't care. Who am I trying to impress?

Nice, comfortable, it's fine. Color is really Barbie-pink, if that matters to you. (Not the color of a rose.) It will wash well. I found the recommended size is huge--consider going down if you want a better fit.

I have two of these that I purchased separately in different sizes. the 1st one is way too big, but i still wear it since it is so soft and light weight. I ordered a smaller size the next time so it fits a little better, but still too big. The XL is probably equivalent to a size 18 or 20, so very roomy. These appear to be well made & I think they will last a long time. The gown looks nice too, a little granny-ish but not entirely. It's definitely more functional than sexy! It will be good for summer, especially after getting out of the shower. It is not for keeping warm in winter, but good for warmer nights or for people who like to stay cool. Overall, I highly recommend this gown if you want comfort & good quality in a silky-feeling gown.

Well, I should have spent the extra money to get the black one because this one, although it is a great bright color, is completely see through. Holy cow! If you want to run around your house, just know anyone else can see EVERYTHING. However, I wear it anyway because it is soooo cool and light. I like it, but my only complaint is the thickness of the material.

Tricot night gown is just the right length for summer. It is good quality fabric and washes up really well.
