ZAGG Folio Case, Hinged with Bluetooth Keyboard for iPad Air 2 - Blue

This turned my ipad into a PC. With my big fingers typing on an IPAD is impossible. Once enabled this bluetooth keyboard I could write a book. I travel a lot and its nice that I can sit this on an airplane tray, open it up and watch movies without holding the ipad. The battery lasts for months and the case is very rugged. I have dropped my ipad multiple times and the only damage to date is a little chip in the case. Highly recoomend this to family and friends .

This thing is great. This company never fails to please me because everything is always good quality and you get what you pay for. All the buttons work it all works for my iPad Air to the battery life is awesome and I really appreciate how it makes my iPad feel secure. When I was buying this I did not think that the reviews were very good and I was very nervous but I tried it and I’m very glad that I did. Purchased one originally at Best Buy and it lasted me for 2 years (I am hard on tech while traveling- shoving in bags, sitting on suitcase to squeeze things in style!) I never had to recharge the battery. Finally cracked under pressure and although it was still functional, I wanted a new one so I could adjust the screen while working.

This is the third Zagg Folio Case I have purchased for our IPad. They are great until they aren’t. Eventually the hinge starts to tweak and will make it impossible to open and close without breaking the hinge. For our family use which is several times a day opening and closing they seem to last about a year. In the meantime the keyboard works well. the case protects the ipad well - ours has been dropped with the case closed and both the case and ipad survived. I also like the look of the case - we got the blue one. If the hinge held up better I would give it 5 stars.

Have purchased these for years due to hinge problems. I just bought 2 and neither fits the ipad air 2 anymore. The hinge is already stiff and it is brand new. Will move on to another type. Very disappointing!

Love my Zagg Folio. It transforms your iPad into a mini-laptop, while at the same time keeping it safe from the occasional drop. I'm so glad that I got it right away when I first got my iPad. People stop me and ask me what kind of device I'm working on and I show them that it is just an iPad with a keyboard and they are really taken with it. Holds its charge for weeks at a time. My only complaints are that the Bluetooth sometimes unpairs from the iPad for no apparent reason and I have to go through a 4-step process to get it connected again and I miss a couple of keys like Home and End and Page Up and Page Down. Zagg has great customer service. I spilled a little water on it and a few keys stopped working and Zagg just sent me another one, no questions asked. When I did it again, I was embarrassed to ask for another one, so I just bought one here on-line!

Fits perfectly for my ipad air2. Very sturdy and strong. Closes with ease and slim. Light weight but durable.

This is my 4th replacement for my iPad Air 2. Originally I purchased a ZAGG Slim detachable keyboard. Well within the warranty period the pivot hinge failed. True to warranty it was replaced by ZAGG. (Free replacement, (US$20 to return). This happened twice during the extended replacement warranty. On the third failure, ZAGG both gave me a replacement for my Slim, and offered a free Folio (non detachable keyboard). The replacement Slim keyboard suffered the same hinge failure shortly after. The new Folio keyboard lasted a bit longer before suffering a similar pivot hinge failure. True to their warranty, they also replaced this keyboard (twice), again at my expense to return the failed unit. Well within their discretion. At the latest failure, I discovered that ZAGG no longer offer an iPad Air2 keyboard (out of date). I discovered this replacement ZAGG folio (without backlight) on Amazon. I immediately purchased two keyboards. I am hoping this will last me through the life of my Air2. I must admit that ZAGG was more than professional during their respect of warranty. And truly understand that their is a limit as to how long their responsibility to support a product (iPad) that Apple has discontinued. As a touch-typist, an iPad is nearly useless for free form typing without a proper keyboard, and ZAGG products due provide that. For whatever tablet I purchase next. I will make sure their is an appropriate ZAGG keyboard. Love the product. The hinge-engineering department could use an overview.

I have had several of these now (I think I’m on my third....) -so while durability isn’t where I would like it to be, I still think this is a great product. I use my iPad daily for work, and open and close the case many many times a day! I’d say these cases last about 14-18 months for me, and then the plastic around the hinges will crack, which means I have about two weeks before the case breaks. But while the case holds together (and again, I use my iPad all day, every day, and I’m pretty rough with the case) I find it’s a great product. Connects seamlessly via Bluetooth to my ipad, holds a charge for at least 21 days (maybe more?) and is really easy to type on. And the colours are great! So al in all, I really recommend it.
