Scrooge McDuck is an expert on making and hoarding money who's completely intolerant of anything or anyone that might come between him and his fortune. Intent on teaching his nephews Huey, Dewey, and Louie everything he knows about money, Scrooge provides the boys with a lesson about cutting expenses and generating profits for their lemonade stand in "Duck to the Future." But when Magica poses as a fortune teller, steals Scrooge's first, very lucky dime, and magically transports Scrooge into a future run by the fully grown, ruthless businessmen Huey, Dewey, and Louie, Scrooge is forced to reconsider whether or not making money at the expense of others is really such a bargain. Scrooge's first dime, and the entire fortune he has stored in his revered money bin, is continually in peril from the threat of people like Magica in "Dime Enough For Luck," the clueless bean counter Fenton and the outlaw Beagle Brothers in the five-part "Super Ducktales," or Bubba the cave-duck from prehistoric times in the five "Time is Money" episodes. More often than not, it falls to inventor Gyro Gearloose, the ever-crashing Launchpad McQuack, and a healthy dose of good luck on Scrooge's part to preserve Scrooge's fortune. Throughout the entire 9-plus hours of animated fun and adventure, Scrooge can be counted upon to ruthlessly pursue personal profit no matter how shady the business deal, but time and again he is, at least momentarily, swayed by a sudden realization of the value of family and friendship. (Ages 5 and older) --Tami Horiuchi Return to Duckburg, USA with Scrooge McDuck and his smart-alecky nephews Huey, Dewey and Louie in this exciting three-disc set! This hilarious collection finds them on a journey to an African jungle, stowed away on a secret aircraft carrier, and rocketing into space to search for a lost "Money Bin." But wherever their zany adventures take them, Uncle Scrooge and his crew, including the energetic pilot Launchpad McQuack, never forget that their greatest treasures are family and friendship! They may battle the Beagle Boys and tangle with Magica DeSpell, but when it comes to laughs, the DuckTales gang always comes out on top. Fans of all ages will love this collection of fine-feathered fun! Review: I loved this show as a kid - What can I say. I loved this show as a kid. They don't make cartoons anymore that carter to this age set, i.e. with interesting plot lines and colorful characters, not watered down for preschoolers, but not overly mature (either too snarky or too violent). Both my three year old son and my eight year old daughter can watch it and enjoy it. And I still find it amusing - when the eighties theme song comes on, we all start singing! I remembered the words! Makes for a good minivan series, as they are limited lengths. (Movies in the car mean you are always in the middle of a movie). Review: A Must Disney Entertainment - Our daughter, who is now 26, watched Duck Tales when she was younger. She loved the cartoon series. It is delightful entertainment. We plan to introduce our two young nieces, ages 6 and 4, to the series. We will more than likely buy the two volume series collection for our daughter so that she can share Talespin with our future grandchildren. I also recommend the Disney cartoon series Talespin and Chip 'n Dale Rescue Rangers. Parents and grandparents, this is wholesome, fun entertainment. Get it for your little ones today.

GREAT CARTOON FROM THE 90'S
This cartoon was one of my favorites growing up and I was so excited to find it on DVD. I love Scrooge McDuck and his nephew as they have adventures and fun tales. I love how Scrooge McDuck is a stingy millionaire who hates spending his gold coins but loves his nephews with all his heart; he pretends to be bothered but really isn't. I introduced this series to my children and they have fallen in love with the series also. The DVD's arrived on time and in great condition.

Just as great as I remembered.
My husband and I were so excited when we found DuckTales. We are both big fans of the show and wanted to share that experience with our children. It has been a huge hit in our house and I love hearing my kids ask if we can put DuckTales on and singing "DuckTales WooHoo". We like to watch them as a family on Saturday nights. This has been great for the entire family

"BLOW ME BAGPIPES......WHY NO SEASON 4?"
Actually I ordered all 3 Volumes a while back, thought I'd outgrown them, but now I feel compelled to order them again....(Yeah, I thought that they were that good)...My only gripe, as to why I gave this 4 out of 5 stars is because I wish they'd release the next season already....surely this can't be it...what about the episodes "The Masked Mallard" and "My Mother, the Psychic", or "The Big Flub"? It's like every episode after the DUCKTALES: MOVIE has been forgotten...but certainly not by me.

Millionara's baseless threats
I love this show and this packaging. The first part of this review is about the show. More specifically the episode "Till Nephews Do Us Part" Webby is no relation to Scrooge, She is Mrs. Beakley's granddaughter, so Millionara couldn't send her away to finishing school or anyplace else for that matter. No matter how many times she married Scrooge. And as far as Huey, Dewey, and Louie are concerned, Donald would have something to say about that since they are "his" nephews. Donald is only letting Scrooge take care of them while he's in the navy. I'm sure he could get a leave so he could make other arrangements. I also wish the rest of the series would come out on dvd. Also I wish "DuckTales the Movie: The Treasure of the Lost Lamp" would be re-released. And more "Adventures of the Gummi Bears". There was only 1 volume for them. At least DuckTales got 3.
